Storm spoke up from the side.

"That's terrifying. At the rate the White Devil's power is growing, if he really has no limit, won't there soon come a day when no one can stop him?"

Hearing Storm's question, Professor X fell silent for a long time. He didn't know how to answer her and could only say slowly,

"That's exactly why we need to guide him down the right path!"

Cyclops suddenly asked from the side,

"Then how are we supposed to guide him down the right path?"

At that question, everyone fell completely silent...

High above the ground, Su Mu strode through the air, covering hundreds of meters with each step.

He had stopped attacking and chosen to leave during his confrontation with the X-Men for two reasons.

First, Phoenix possessed the Phoenix Force, one of the most fearsome powers in the Marvel Multiverse. It was the embodiment of all life and emotion!

As one of the oldest forces in existence, the complete Phoenix Force could effortlessly disintegrate, transform, reassemble, create, and destroy all things. It could also twist causality and timelines at will!

It could roam freely through any dimension, plane, or universe, without any restrictions!

The complete Phoenix Force was a mighty entity that surpassed the omniverse!

Even though the Phoenix Force within Phoenix was only a tiny fragment, it was still an incredibly terrifying power. It could easily make Phoenix a Level 5 Mutant—and a particularly powerful one, even among Level 5 Mutants!

Since he wasn't sure whether the Limitless Technique could stop Black Phoenix from disintegrating matter, or whether the Reverse Cursed Technique could regenerate him faster than Phoenix could disintegrate matter, Su Mu decided not to take the risk.

Second, the X-Men were bound to clash with Colonel Stryker.

He had previously asked Tony Stark to find Stryker, but perhaps Stryker already knew the White Devil was after him and had deliberately concealed his whereabouts. Even Tony Stark couldn't find him.

After that, Su Mu had asked S.H.I.E.L.D. for help, but the result was the same.

So he planned to use the X-Men to draw Stryker out. Stryker, who hated Mutants with a passion, would definitely go after the X-Men!

The bait had been set. All that was left was to wait patiently for the fish to bite!

In a secluded town in New Mexico, every customer in a restaurant turned to look at a strange group of diners.

It was because one of them had suddenly smashed a cup. Although his companions immediately apologized, the incident still drew the attention of the other customers.

But the next moment, the restaurant's doorbell rang, and a tall, slender figure walked in, drawing everyone's attention away from the rude man and toward himself.

"Hey, buddy, are you cosplaying as the White Devil?"

A chubby little boy sitting near the entrance had heard the doorbell and turned around. He immediately spotted the handsome man with white hair and sunglasses who had just walked in. He knew that outfit all too well—it was the look of the Level 5 Mutant, the White Devil!

The White Devil's mutant ability and outfit were both incredibly cool, and he was famous all over the world. With all that going for him, plenty of young people had tried cosplaying as him.

The little boy was no exception. But he was short and chubby, and could never capture even a hint of the White Devil's presence, so he'd had to give up trying.

Now, looking at the handsome man who had just walked into the restaurant, he felt intensely envious. The guy's height, build, and even his looks were remarkably similar to the White Devil's. If he hadn't known that the White Devil was in New York, he might have thought this guy really was him.

As soon as Su Mu entered, he saw a chubby little boy with white hair gazing at him enviously. Then he heard the boy ask if he was cosplaying as the White Devil and repeatedly praise how accurate his costume was.

Su Mu was taken aback at first, then understood what the boy meant. An impish look came over him, and he said,

"Thanks, buddy. Your hair is cool too!"

The little boy was thrilled to get a compliment from a cosplay expert. He turned to the glass beside him and admired his reflection. The more he looked, the more handsome he seemed,

"I knew it. Tom and the others were just making fun of me because they're jealous of how handsome I am!"

Su Mu: "..."

Leaving the self-absorbed little boy behind, Su Mu walked over to the strange group that had just smashed the cup and sat down under the puzzled gazes of Thor and the others.

Based on the events of Thor 1, along with a little help from S.H.I.E.L.D., Su Mu had quickly found the town.

After resting at a hotel for a day, Su Mu had discovered that Thor and the others had come to the restaurant that had appeared in the movie. So he'd decided to come find Thor.

After sitting down, he saw Thor and the others looking at him in confusion. Su Mu grinned brightly.

"Hi, everyone. My name's Su Mu, though most people prefer to call me the White Devil. Mind if I get to know you?"

At Su Mu's introduction, everyone except Thor burst out laughing. Jane Foster, Thor's future girlfriend, joked,

"You're the White Devil? What a coincidence. We've got a Norse god of legend right here too!

Isn't that right, Thor?"

In response to Jane Foster's teasing, Su Mu didn't try to prove anything. Instead, he stared at Thor in "shock."

"Oh my God, you're Thor, the legendary Son of Odin and future king of Asgard!"

Ever since he'd landed on Midgard and lost his powers, Thor had repeatedly been humiliated. No one believed he was Thor. Now, to have someone suddenly acknowledge him made the "weak" human before him seem wonderfully likable.

"That's right! I am Thor, Son of Odin. You have a good eye. Once I find Mjolnir and return to Asgard, I'll reward you handsomely!"

Su Mu's smile grew even more delighted.

"Thank you, Your Highness Thor!"

Seeing the stranger who called himself the White Devil and Thor, who called himself the God of Thunder, chatting so happily, the other three could only laugh helplessly.

One Thor was already a handful. Now there was another lunatic!

Just then, Thor remembered Su Mu's introduction and noticed how everyone nearby was reacting. Curious, he asked Su Mu,

"Are you famous? Why are all the other Midgardians looking at you?"

Before Su Mu could answer, Jane Foster spoke for him.

"He's playing the role of someone very famous..."

After Jane Foster explained it, Thor finally understood the concept of cosplay. He gave Su Mu a hearty smile.

"That White Devil fellow sounds too weak. You should cosplay as me, the great Thor! That'd be much cooler!"

Su Mu said nothing as Thor kept slapping him on the shoulder. The smile on his lips only grew more inscrutable...
