Breaking out of the gang's prison, Su Mu used the original owner's memories to identify his surroundings. Sure enough, the prison was located in Hell's Kitchen.

After confirming his location, Su Mu sprinted in one direction.

His identity as a Mutant had been exposed the moment his powers awakened. Now, not only were the authorities hunting him down, but the gang that had captured him would not let him go either.

Before killing the gang leader, Su Mu had learned from him that these gang members were likely Kingpin's men. Kingpin was New York's underground emperor, and after having his business ruined, he would never let Su Mu off.

So, with both sides hunting him down, increasing his strength was the most important thing right now.

After continuously using the Limitless Technique and using Technique Reversal: Azure twice, the energy in his body was already on the verge of depletion. If he encountered a pursuing force now, he would have no ability to resist at all.

Turning another corner, Su Mu spotted a transformer in front of him and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Electricity was the easiest source of energy he could think of, and it was also what would see him through this early stage.

The Six Eyes gave Su Mu incredibly precise control over energy. Using Energy Absorption, he slowly drew in the current from the transformer, keeping the intake exactly at the limit of what he could currently handle.

Watching his Energy Points steadily rise and feeling his body gradually fill with energy, Su Mu smiled in satisfaction.

Once he sensed that the energy in his body was nearing its limit, Su Mu began practicing the skills he had acquired.

The abilities granted by the panel all started at level one and had to be raised through constant practice.

For instance, the power of Technique Reversal: Azure that Su Mu could unleash now was far below the power Gojo Satoru could wield. Only through continued practice and leveling up the skill could it achieve greater might.

With the system, if Su Mu raised his skills to a sufficiently high level, he could even surpass the original template and reach an unprecedented realm!

Of the abilities he currently possessed, the Six Eyes could not directly increase his strength. Energy Absorption was constantly being practiced and gaining experience, making it the fastest skill to level up. The nature of the Limitless Technique meant that leveling it could only reduce its consumption; only when it reached a sufficiently high level could it undergo a transformation.

The instant it leveled up, Su Mu immediately sensed new methods of using Technique Reversal: Azure appearing in his mind.

Though the skill description had not changed much, its power was now completely different—a tremendous transformation had taken place!

Just as Su Mu was about to test the changes in the upgraded skill, he suddenly heard the sound of a gun being cocked behind him.

"Hey, you unlucky bastard up there. Hand over all the money on you, or I'll show you what this gun can do!"

Through the Six Eyes, Su Mu had long noticed the man approaching from behind and had already activated the Limitless Technique.

He turned around unhurriedly. A scruffy middle-aged man stood there, aiming a handgun at him. He was clearly trying to rob him—an American specialty.

The middle-aged man had only been trying his luck nearby today, but he had not expected to actually find prey.

He immediately stepped forward, cocked his gun, and ordered the man before him to hand over all his money.

Originally, he had planned to leave as soon as he got the money. But when he got a clear look at Su Mu's face, he froze. Then he licked his lips and grinned lewdly.

"I've changed my mind. Not only are you handing over all your money, you're also going to face the wall and brace yourself for me!"

Su Mu instantly lost all tolerance upon hearing the scruffy middle-aged man's words. He had originally wanted to properly test his newly acquired skill on the man, but now he decided he might as well just erase him.

Just as Su Mu was about to unleash Technique Reversal: Azure, a violent whistling sound suddenly came from nearby.

Then, a slender, curvaceous figure in a black-and-white bodysuit and hood swung in from the distance on webbing, before kicking the scruffy middle-aged man flying.

As the scruffy middle-aged man flew through the air, several strands of webbing arrived ahead of him, wrapping around him and hanging him from a nearby streetlamp.

The hooded girl clung to the side of a building, one half of her body stuck to the wall while the other hung naturally downward. She said to Su Mu:

"Sir, are you all right? No need to thank me—I'm New York's friendly neighborhood Spider-Woman!"

Spider-Woman!

The moment he saw her graceful figure, Su Mu immediately recognized her. Wasn't this Gwen Spider?

Why wasn't Spider-Man Peter Parker, but Gwen Stacy instead?

Could this world not be the movie universe, but some unknown parallel universe?

While Su Mu was deep in thought, Gwen grew worried when he failed to answer. Had this man been hurt?

When she moved closer, she found that his body was covered in wounds of all sizes. Although most had already healed, they still looked terrifying.

So she continued:

"Sir, you're injured. Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"

Su Mu had always had a favorable impression of Gwen. When he watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, he had grown fond of this strong and brave Spider-Woman.

"No, it's fine. I'm all right."

"But..."

Seeing Su Mu refuse her help, Gwen was about to say something else when her Spider-Sense went off!

Danger!

Instinctively, she tried to grab the man in front of her and take him somewhere safe. But as she swung away on her web, she suddenly realized that she hadn't managed to catch him!

What was going on!?

Then she heard the sound of walls shattering and a building collapsing.

"Oh, damn it!"

Watching the enormous Lizardman completely destroy the electrical substation, Gwen didn't think that man could have survived its attack.

Because of her carelessness, an innocent man had died. He had looked so young, only a few years older than herself...
