Beating Up Lizardmen!

Gwen glared angrily at the gigantic lizard monster.

"Dr. Connors, this time I'll definitely defeat you and bring you to justice!"

Spider-Gwen charged at the Lizardman. Although the Lizardman's strength could easily smash through concrete pillars, he was helpless against the agile Spider-Woman and could only endure Gwen's attacks head-on.

However, although Gwen's attacks kept landing on the Lizardman, they failed to inflict any effective damage.

The Lizardman was thick-skinned and tough, and he also possessed regenerative abilities. Even attacks powerful enough to kill an ordinary person with a single punch did little to injure him.

Even the minor injuries he sustained rapidly healed through his regeneration!

Gwen's strength had indeed increased in her rage, but her stamina was being drained at an equally frightening rate. Before long, she was panting heavily.

As her stamina declined, her speed and strength began to drop as well, and she gradually fell into a disadvantage.

Suddenly, the Lizardman caught an opening and immediately grabbed one of Gwen's legs, flinging her away. With a deafening crash, she smashed into a nearby crumbling wall, leaving behind a human-shaped dent.

Gwen had only gained her extraordinary abilities not long ago. After taking such a heavy blow, the intense pain left her unable to recover her senses.

She struggled to get back on her feet, but the terrifying green figure had already appeared before her, blocking the dim streetlights and leaving only a patch of lightless shadow.

A piercing whistle tore through the air, and Gwen was kicked away once more. This time, she completely lost the ability to resist.

Heavy footsteps approached. Gwen struggled to lift her head and tried to rise, but failed.

She watched the slowly approaching Lizardman in despair as the fear of death enveloped her.

Dr. Connors, transformed into the Lizardman, had completely lost his humanity. She did not believe he would spare her.

"Could it be that I only just gained extraordinary abilities, only to die already? No, I don't want to die!"

But the intense pain coursing through every part of her body, along with her unresponsive body, told her that she no longer had any strength left to fight back.

She was about to follow that man from earlier into the abyss of death!

Just then, a voice suddenly came from the distance. Its owner should have been dead, so Gwen thought she was hallucinating.

But when she saw the Lizardman stop, she realized she had not heard wrong!

The man from earlier wasn't dead!

How was that possible!?

Yet the voice that followed confirmed her suspicion, no matter how impossible it seemed!

"I say, didn't you hear what I said, ugly?"

When the Lizardman turned to look at him, Su Mu's lips curled into a savage grin.

"You attacked me directly. Do you think I'm that easy to bully?"

The Lizardman looked at Su Mu in confusion. How had that little ant from earlier suddenly come back to life?

Professor Connors himself was highly intelligent, but after transforming into the Lizardman, he had become a dim-witted monster. Compared to thinking, he was far more skilled at instinctive destruction.

Seeing Su Mu alive again, he paused only briefly before charging at him, intending to tear the insect before him to pieces!

Seeing this, Gwen had no idea how the man had escaped the previous attack, but she was certain that he was no match for the Lizardman!

She immediately warned him.

"Run!"

But what happened next made her eyes widen in utter disbelief!

Roar!

The Lizardman let out an enraged roar and charged at Su Mu.

The Lizardman's body looked extremely bulky, but he was not slow. He only appeared clumsy when compared to the agile Spider-Woman.

In truth, his speed, agility, and reaction time could rival Spider-Woman's. It was merely his enormous body that held back his speed.

Still, that was not without its benefits. His massive body reduced his speed, but it also increased his strength.

As he charged toward Su Mu, Su Mu felt as though he were facing down a freight truck barreling straight at him.

But it was only a freight truck.

Su Mu extended one hand forward. The surrounding space continuously overlapped, reaching the state of infinity and preventing all objects from approaching him!

Limitless Technique!

Under Gwen's gaze, the enormous Lizardman was about to crash into that poor man. With his slender body, he would surely be crushed into pulp!

She could not bear to watch what was about to happen.

Yet the man merely raised a hand before himself. That slender arm, facing the enormous Lizardman, looked as fragile as a chopstick.

But that slender arm alone stopped the Lizardman completely, leaving him unable to advance even an inch!

What had happened?

What was wrong with this world? Why did it suddenly feel completely unfamiliar?

Gwen kept asking questions like that!

Watching the Lizardman attack him relentlessly from so close by, yet remain unable to advance even a fraction, Su Mu flashed him a brilliant smile.

"Come on, come on! Try a little harder, and maybe you'll actually be able to touch me!"

How could the Lizardman endure such provocation? He erupted with even greater strength, the muscles all over his body knotting and tensing as he threw his strongest blow.

But...

It still had no effect...

A distance of merely a few centimeters felt as though it separated two worlds. He simply could not reach him.

After toying with the Lizardman for a while, Su Mu lost his patience. Energy transformed into pure Cursed Energy and spread throughout his body.

He was going to end this fight!

At Su Mu's current level of template integration, even with Cursed Energy strengthening his body, he was no match for the Lizardman.

However, with the assistance of the Six Eyes, the Lizardman was nothing more than a large punching bag.

The Limitless Technique remained active the entire time. The Lizardman could not touch Su Mu in the slightest, while Su Mu could touch the Lizardman whenever he pleased.

His Cursed Energy-enhanced attacks struck the Lizardman. Under Gwen's stunned gaze, that seemingly frail gentleman was beating the Lizardman down, completely suppressing him!

Like a gymnastics athlete, every one of Su Mu's movements was incredibly stylish—and devastatingly powerful.

Bang!

His foot collided with the Lizardman's chest, sending him flying with a single kick. He smashed through several walls before finally crashing to the ground.

Yet he immediately got back up. Though Su Mu's attack had inflicted considerable damage, his terrifying regenerative ability restored him at once, producing no obvious effect.

The hope that had filled Gwen's eyes dimmed once more.

That was right—she had been defeated by that terrifying regenerative ability. No matter how astonishingly strong that gentleman was, if he could not inflict a fatal injury on the Lizardman, he would eventually be worn down to death by its horrific regeneration.

So she called out to him.

"Sir, Dr. Lizard possesses an extremely powerful healing ability. If you can't defeat him in one go, he may very well wear you down to death!

"Your damage has to outpace his self-healing speed if you want to defeat him!"

Su Mu ignored Spider-Woman and looked toward the increasingly frenzied Lizardman. The moment the Lizardman's injuries healed, he charged at Su Mu again.

A sinister smile appeared on Su Mu's lips as he mocked the hulking figure before him.

"You really think I can't do anything to you?"

He raised a hand, his slender, bony fingers curling slightly. Then his voice turned utterly cold.

"Technique Reversal: Azure!"
