Momochi Zabuza

As the boat wound through layer upon layer of mist, Kakashi Team finally reached the unfinished bridge in the Land of Waves.

Mist swirled all around them, making the place look like a fairyland. The bridge was barely visible through the haze.

As the boat slowly neared the shore, Kakashi's calm, steady voice rang out. "Mr. Tazuna, before we reach shore, there's something I need to ask you. Who attacked you, and why? If you don't answer, we'll have no choice but to terminate the mission as soon as you disembark."

Faced with Kakashi's questions, Tazuna lowered his head and fell silent, his brow furrowed.

After struggling with himself for a while, he finally spoke. "Looks like I have no choice but to tell you. No, please, you have to hear me out. As you said, this job is probably beyond the scope of your mission. The truth is, my life has been targeted by a truly terrifying person for a long time."

Kakashi asked, puzzled, "A terrifying person? Who?"

Tazuna continued, "You've probably heard his name. He's a tycoon in the shipping business, a man named Gato."

Kakashi looked shocked. "What? Gato? The owner of the Gato Company? I heard he's one of the richest men in the world."

Naruto couldn't help being curious. In fact, he was curious about everything right now. "Who? Who? What? What?"

Tazuna closed his eyes, his face pained. "That's right. On the surface, he runs a shipping company. Behind the scenes, he uses thugs and ninjas to traffic drugs and contraband. He even takes over other businesses and countries, doing all sorts of shady things."

He continued, "About a year ago, that man took an interest in the Land of Waves. With his money and brute force, he did whatever he pleased and quickly monopolized the island's sea routes and shipping. For an island nation like the Land of Waves, whoever controls the sea controls all its wealth, politics, and people. Now, the only thing Gato fears is the completion of this bridge."

Sakura rubbed her chin and said thoughtfully, "I see. So the old man building the bridge would become an obstacle to Gato."

Sasuke looked at Sakura. "Then those ninjas we ran into last time must have been Gato's lackeys."

Naruto thought to himself, One of the richest men in the world? Then the ninjas he can hire definitely won't be ordinary. I'm getting more and more excited.

Kakashi spoke up. "But I really don't understand. Our opponent is a dangerous man who can even hire ninjas. Why hide the truth and hire us?"

Tazuna looked at Kakashi and answered honestly, "The Land of Waves is an extremely poor country. Even the daimyo has no money, and I'm poorer still. I can't afford the high fee for a mission ranked B or higher. If you cancel the mission as soon as we reach shore, I'll be killed before I even make it home."

He sighed and continued, "But it's all right. Even if I die, only my adorable eight-year-old granddaughter will spend every day weeping. And my daughter will hate the Leaf Ninja for the rest of her life and live alone. But none of that is your fault."

That was quite a sob story—and a clever attempt to guilt them into helping. Tazuna's words left Kakashi and the others with complicated expressions. They exchanged glances, and Kakashi scratched his Forehead Protector with a wry smile. "Fine. I guess we don't have a choice. We'll keep protecting you."

Tazuna looked pleased with himself. "Oh, I'm truly grateful."

As the boat glided onward, the mist gradually fell behind them. Thanks to the boatman's skill, they finally arrived safely in the heart of the Land of Waves.

When the boat came to a steady stop at the shore, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. They hadn't encountered any ninjas along the way.

They set foot on the Land of Waves and began exploring this unfamiliar place.

However, a pair of sharp eyes was watching them from the shadows.

Momochi Zabuza lay in wait on a roadside tree, his figure blending into the leaves until he was almost impossible to spot.

But even the best disguise couldn't fool two pairs of eyes.

Kakashi pinpointed Momochi Zabuza's position through his extensive experience.

Naruto, meanwhile, could see right through Momochi Zabuza—even down to his underwear.

After being reborn as Naruto, Gojo Satoru hadn't expected the Six Eyes to be reborn with him. They had even taken on a more concealed form. Naruto's signature bright blue eyes looked no different on the outside, but within, they had been completely transformed into the Six Eyes.

The Six Eyes granted Gojo Satoru abilities beyond imagination.

360-degree vision over long distances, including behind him; he could see clearly from afar with no blind spots. It was much like the Byakugan.

They could see through an opponent's Cursed Technique and directly track or predict the flow of Chakra. They allowed the user to control Chakra with incredible precision, much like the Sharingan. Blocking the line of sight didn't interfere with vision.

So, nothing could be kept secret from Naruto now. There was nowhere to hide.

Neither Kakashi nor Naruto immediately exposed Momochi Zabuza. Instead, they chose to wait and see.
