Turtle School Training

Before dawn, Qinglong lay in bed, groggily hearing the sound of the window being opened. He opened his sleepy eyes.

"Hey! Kid! Time to get up!"

The booming shout scared every last bit of drowsiness out of Qinglong.

Might Guy had somehow crouched by the window, holding a set of green clothes in one hand and giving a thumbs-up with the other. The gleaming white teeth at the corner of his mouth somehow shone dazzlingly even in the dim room!

"Kid! This is the training suit I prepared for you. Handsome, right? No need to thank me—hurry up, get dressed, and let Uncle have a look!"

Having just climbed out of bed, Qinglong was so frightened by that training suit that he nearly fell asleep again!

"Uh... no need for that!"

"I have a training suit!"

Qinglong hurriedly refused, his heart pounding. He swiftly got up, rushed into the washroom, and changed into Master Roshi's training suit.

Guy looked regretfully at the training suit in his hand.

"What a pity! Such a fine training suit can only go to Lee now. Lee will definitely be happy!"

"Let's go! Kid, time to train!"

"Okay!"

Qinglong quickly opened the door and followed.

By the small river in Konoha.

Guy stood to the side, watching the two kids. He said to Little Lee, "Alright, time to warm up. Start with 500 push-ups!"

"Yes!"

Little Lee immediately began.

Qinglong also twisted and stretched his body.

After warming up, Qinglong faced the rising sun, formed the Great Sun Seal with his hands, and sat cross-legged on a rock, calming his mind as he meditated.

"Hasn't that kid Qinglong extracted Chakra yet!?"

Might Guy sighed.

"Lee! Once you finish those 500 push-ups, let's extract Chakra too!"

"Yes!"

As the morning sun gradually rose, Qinglong's Saiyan physique developed, and he had actually already cultivated Ki sense.

Watching Qinglong's aura gradually rise, Guy was utterly shocked!

This kid seemed to be getting stronger!

Getting stronger at a visible rate!

But he still didn't have Chakra!!!

Qinglong sprang up from his meditation and moved his body a little, feeling as though he was brimming with strength.

"Uncle Guy! Let's start running!"

"Let's begin with ten laps around Konoha!"

After running more than half a lap around Konoha, Qinglong pointed at an intersection.

"Lee! This way!"

This intersection led toward the Inuzuka Clan.

Kiba Inuzuka was pooping again, squatting in the bushes with Akamaru's leash in one hand and toilet paper in the other, grunting away!

Qinglong picked up a stone and threw it over. It landed with a plop in front of a pack of large dogs and rolled a few times.

The dogs raised their heads and saw the familiar kid throwing stones at them while giving them two middle fingers.

Unsurprisingly, they all understood exactly what those middle fingers meant. With loud roars, they gave chase.

Seeing this, Qinglong turned and ran. Lee stared blankly as a pack of snarling Vicious Dogs charged at them, then frightenedly turned and ran as well.

Afraid the dogs might hurt the two kids, Guy was just about to step in and stop them.

"Bang!"

A dog even bigger than a Water Buffalo suddenly appeared and grabbed his shoulder.

"Guy! Don't interfere. Let the kids play around if they want. The dogs won't hurt your two little ones."

"Woof woof~ Woof woof~"

A huge pack of dogs chased them through the Village Paths and Alleys, their barking deafening. Qinglong felt fucking thrilled!

At that moment, the ever-helpful system played the opening theme of Dragon Ball, <Makafushigi Adventure DRAGON BALL (Mysterious Adventure)>, by Qinglong's ear. For a moment, Qinglong felt incomparably free and exhilarated, leaving the pack of dogs far behind him.

Little Lee, left behind and thoroughly terrified, was still running for his life. It was the first time in his life he had ever been chased by dogs. It was fucking terrifying—his butt had nearly been bitten, and he was using every last ounce of strength he had.

Might Guy was extremely satisfied. Lee had exceeded his training quota for the day. As expected, training was only effective when he had a companion!

"Qinglong, to thank you for training with Little Lee, dinner's on me tonight!"

"How could I possibly accept that?"

Before Qinglong could refuse, his stomach rumbled.

Might Guy burst out laughing.

"See? Even your stomach agrees, so don't refuse!"

Qinglong stopped refusing. He really was hungry.

Inside Ichiraku Ramen Shop, Uncle Teuchi smiled as he brought over another huge bowl of ramen.

On the table in front of Qinghe, the empty bowls had already been stacked into a towering pile, yet he was still wolfing down ramen at an astonishing pace.

He had forgotten that Saiyans had truly astonishing appetites. A Saiyan's growth required enormous amounts of energy—they were genuine bottomless pits!

Beside him, Might Guy stared wide-eyed at Qinglong as he feasted, the hand holding his wallet trembling.

Qinglong looked at the pile of bowls on the table and smiled awkwardly. He had accidentally eaten so much.

"Ah~! I'm full!"

"Thank you for the meal, Uncle Guy!"

Actually, he could still eat, but he was too embarrassed to continue.

"Thank you, Uncle Teuchi, for making such delicious ramen!"

Watching Guy tremble as he went to pay, Qinglong felt rather embarrassed.

Guy patted him.

"It's fine to eat more! Young people need to grow. Being able to eat is a blessing!"
