Background / History

Qinglong began as a six-year-old in Konoha who trained relentlessly despite possessing no Chakra. Might Guy recognized his work ethic but regretted that such a diligent child lacked Chakra, while Rock Lee’s dedication gave Qinglong further motivation to improve. Through meditation and physical conditioning, Qinglong instead awakened Ki Sense. 2 3

He trained under Might Guy alongside Lee, adopting Turtle School-style practices and wearing Master Roshi’s training uniform rather than Guy’s green suit. His physical growth was unusually rapid, soon drawing Guy’s attention. 3 4

Tsunade tested Qinglong by challenging him to seize a bell. Although she defeated him after he removed his extreme weighted equipment, she acknowledged his strength and accepted him as her second disciple. 19

During the Land of Rain mission, Qinglong defeated Salamander Hanzo and his summon Ibuse while deliberately holding back against opponents he considered physically fragile. His victory ended Hanzo’s reputation as a “Demigod,” and Qinglong spared Hanzo afterward. 32 33

His growing reputation made him a target of major forces. Akatsuki placed a bounty on him, identifying him as Konoha’s increasingly dangerous Human Weapon, while Amegakure later recognized him as the fighter who had defeated Hanzo. 74 161

Qinglong eventually traveled between the Ninja World and the Dragon Ball World, battling Cecil, Frieza, Cell, the Otsutsuki Heavenly Kings, the God of Otsutsuki, and Beerus. Qinglong is a tall, muscular young man with spiky hair and a build estimated to exceed 1.8 meters. He commonly wears an orange Turtle School-style training uniform marked with “Taki” on the chest and a Konoha symbol on the back. 300

He spares Hanzo after defeating him, supports Tsunade’s plan to train Karin, and prioritizes stopping threats to others, such as Frieza’s Death Energy Ball.
