What else could Qinglong do? Of course, refuse!
"What? You don't want to? I can give you power! Incredibly powerful strength!"
Orochimaru stuck out his long tongue and coaxed him with an evil grin.
"I'll pass on your power! I'm staying in Konoha. I think Konoha needs me more!"
Qinglong refused again, his tone casual. He didn't think much of Orochimaru's power at all!
"You dare look down on my power!?"
Orochimaru's seductive pose froze for a moment, then a fierce killing intent suddenly erupted! The Hell Viewing Technique activated!
But Qinglong wasn't affected. His gaze remained clear, and Orochimaru narrowed his eyes.
"Shadow Snake Hand!"
Orochimaru's arm turned into a giant python and rapidly stretched toward Qinglong. Qinglong dodged backward, but the python pursued him, crushing every tree in its path.
Leaves and splintered wood flew everywhere!
"Orochimaru, you're pretty ruthless. You attack just because we disagree!"
"If I don't attack, how will you know how strong I am?"
Orochimaru withdrew his arm, then stuck out his long tongue and licked his lips.
"I know where you are!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Orochimaru's tongue turned into a giant snake. It opened its mouth, bared its fangs, and lunged straight at Qinglong.
Qinglong shuddered and got goosebumps again. A live snake coming out of someone's mouth—this was his first time seeing that in person!
He couldn't take it anymore. Qinglong clenched his fist and punched Orochimaru.
"Bang!"
A gust of force burst out, scattering leaves and branches and revealing Qinglong's figure. The head of the snake Orochimaru had spat out had been smashed to pieces.
"So you finally came out! Multiple Shadow Snake Hands!"
Orochimaru waved his hand, and several giant snakes opened their mouths, bared their fangs, and lunged at Qinglong.
"Eight Arms Fist!"
Qinglong's arms moved so quickly that it looked as if he had eight of them. He seemed incredibly imposing as he punched each of the attacking pythons to pieces.
He shook his hands, still feeling the sensation of grabbing snakes. Qinglong found it kind of gross, so he darted forward and attacked Orochimaru!
This brat still hasn't used Chakra? Orochimaru grinned without moving. As Qinglong closed in with a punch, Orochimaru took it with his face.
"Bang!"
The blow landed with a loud boom, but Orochimaru had underestimated the force of Qinglong's punch!
The punch made Orochimaru's ears ring. The punch left his head spinning. The punch sent his body flying completely out of control. He crashed through several trees before slamming into the ground, sending leaves, wood chips, and dust flying.
A nearby giant snake saw Orochimaru get punched away and shot forward. It opened its enormous mouth, big enough to swallow an elephant, and tried to swallow Qinglong.
It was the largest snake Qinglong had ever seen. Before it even got close, its foul breath washed over him, and he could clearly see the inside of its throat.
Without thinking, Qinglong instinctively brought his hands together and fired an Energy Wave!
"BOOM!!!"
The whole snake was blasted into ashes! The Energy Wave's force carried on, carving a long, enormous trench through the Death Forest!
Ninjas nearby who had been fighting over the Heaven and Earth Scrolls stared blankly at the enormous trench that had appeared out of nowhere, their faces filled with terror. They were incredibly relieved they hadn't been hit. Without even stopping to grab the scrolls, they hurried away.
Orochimaru climbed out of the ground, his face still a little numb. He remembered a flash of light when his face hit the ground—and then his giant snake was gone!
Dumbfounded, Orochimaru looked at the enormous trench that stretched straight through the Death Forest. His giant snake had disappeared!
"Where's my giant snake? My huge snake is gone!"
Although this snake wasn't a powerful creature like Manda, it wasn't some weakling like the snake that had toyed with Naruto, either!
Such an enormous snake had vanished in an instant, without leaving a trace.
The commotion had already drawn the attention of Konoha's ninjas. Not wanting his plans exposed, Orochimaru glanced at Qinglong and chose to leave.
Before leaving, Orochimaru gave him a wicked smile.
"Kid, you're pretty good. We'll meet again."
At that, Qinglong got goosebumps all over again! Looking at Orochimaru's face, he'd never seen anyone with such thick skin. The guy had taken a punch and barely looked hurt!
As Orochimaru spoke, his body slowly sank into the ground and disappeared. Just then, the Konoha ninjas who had heard the commotion finally arrived.
"What happened here?"
"What caused all this commotion?"
An Anbu Ninja spotted Qinglong and asked him what was going on.
"Help! Orochimaru attacked me just now!"
Qinglong spoke excitedly to Konoha's Anbu Ninjas, pointing toward the enormous trench.
"This was all Orochimaru's doing!"
Qinglong wasn't exactly lying. It really had been Orochimaru who had caused all this.
"Is Orochimaru really that powerful?"
One Anbu Ninja stared at the trench and couldn't help swallowing nervously.
"Idiot!"
Another Anbu Ninja smacked him on the head and said angrily.
