Meeting Kushina

"You! Minato Namikaze! You're back and you didn't even come see me first!"

Kushina Uzumaki grabbed Minato Namikaze by the ear with one hand and put the other on her hip, roaring at him. Her red hair billowed out behind her.

This is! Chakra unconsciously emitting, forming an aura of power. Kushina truly is a Nine-Tails Jinchuriki; her aura alone is stronger than Killer B's, even though he's already an adult. As expected of the Nine-Tails, capable of fighting eight at once.

Haku, who was silently marveling at the power of the Nine-Tails and Kushina Uzumaki, suddenly felt a chill down his spine. He slowly looked up and saw Kushina staring silently at him.

It's you! The guy from the Konoha gates! What a rude person!

"Um, Kushina, you and Minato make such a great couple!"

Haku saw that Minato's ear was still in Kushina's hand and blurted out.

After saying it, Haku froze, not understanding why he had said such a thing.

Kushina was also stunned. After a moment, her face quickly turned red, and she asked in a voice barely audible to Haku, "Really? Do you really think so?"

Seeing Kushina's shy expression while still holding Minato's ear, Haku decided it was better for a friend to suffer than himself, and answered with certainty, "Yes, no one is more suited for each other than you two. Don't you think so? Duy!"

After answering Kushina's question, Haku also kicked Might Duy, who was standing behind him in a daze.

Might Duy, watching this scene unfold, didn't understand why Haku kicked him. But he was very excited. "Ah! Haku, why are they so perfect for each other!"

He said this while shedding tears. "Haku, is this... youth!"

Might Duy's outburst completely flustered Kushina. She instinctively let go of Minato's ear and hid behind him.

It seems Kushina is quite scared inside. Her outward strength is just a facade she puts on. Sometimes, she still instinctively chooses to hide behind Minato. Such a loving couple shouldn't become victims of someone else's interests. I must change this.

Haku made this silent decision as he watched the scene.

Minato Namikaze and Haku were not surprised by Might Duy's actions.

After a while, the four of them finally calmed down.

Sitting at the dinner table, the four were no longer as reserved as when they first met.

"Hello! Kushina, I'm Haku. I've been on missions with Minato Namikaze. This is Might Duy!"

"Haha! I'm Might Duy! I met Minato on a mission too. He's so strong, he helped me a lot. He's truly an inspiring person, what wonderful youth!!"

Might Duy, hearing Haku mention him, directly took over Haku's words and continued. Haku had originally intended to introduce Duy, to avoid this awkward situation, but he had underestimated Duy's enthusiasm.

Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, however, were very enthusiastic about Duy's performance.

"Hello! Duy! I'm Kushina Uzumaki, Minato Namikaze's girlfriend. It's nice to meet you!"

Kushina's face turned red again when she said "girlfriend," but this time she didn't hide behind Minato.

"Minato is indeed very strong, and I'm very strong too! We can train together if you have the chance!"

Haku saw Minato's hand retracting, realizing he knew what Kushina was about to say and wanted to stop her, but he seemed to miscalculate the timing, and Kushina still managed to say it.

Haku knew what Minato was worried about. Before Haku could finish his thoughts, he heard Duy speak from beside him. Haku inwardly thought, As expected.

"Oh! Really! It's great that we can train together! This is the taste of youth! This burning feeling of youth!"

Might Duy said this, tears streaming down his face, and looked at Kushina Uzumaki with shining eyes.

This is bad!

This is bad!

Haku and Minato Namikaze both shouted inwardly.

Boom!

Crack!

The first sound was Duy hitting the wall, the second was him falling to the ground, face first.

Haku silently retracted the hand he had intended to use to pull Duy back, having forgotten he was wearing weights and was a bit slow, thus failing to grab Duy.

Minato Namikaze also silently retracted his hand. He had wanted to grab Kushina, but he didn't dare. He exchanged a look with Haku and sheepishly withdrew his hand.

"Uh! Why am I lying on the ground?"

Might Duy, lying on the ground, posed a soul-searching question to the others.

Haku looked up at Kushina. Duy might not have noticed, but Haku clearly saw red chakra seeping out of Kushina's body the moment she moved. Haku guessed it was the Nine-Tails' chakra, but he wasn't sure if it was an unconscious emission or if Kushina was controlling it.
