Tang San begins at Shrek Academy as a Level 29 Control System Soul Grandmaster wielding Blue Silver Grass. During Zhao Wuji’s entrance test, he relies on Hidden Weapons and coordination with his companions to withstand a Soul Saint for one incense stick. Bibi Han’s hints cause him to question the true quality of his Blue Silver Grass and the validity of Yu Xiaogang’s teachings. 47 48

Tang Hao later confirms that Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass is the Blue Silver Emperor and tells him that it requires a second awakening at Rank 50. Tang San reunites with his father after six years apart and becomes determined to cultivate, avenge his family, and restore the Clear Sky Sect. 48

He defies the usual limits of Soul Ring absorption by taking a Man Faced Demon Spider’s ring, causing his Eight Spider Soul Bones to evolve. After losing an arm during the Soul Master Tournament conflict, he absorbs the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone, regrows his own arm, and uses its regenerative ability to restore Tang Hao’s severed limbs. 59 142 147
