The Vacant Position

Miss Ke Family, dressed casually, looked at the notice and the thick stack of photocopies in her hands, then turned to Feng Xue with a strange expression.

"You came all the way here to attend high school, fine—but you even chose your senior year! We're leaving in June, so you came here to experience the final push before the college entrance exams, but you're not even taking them? Are you that fond of putting yourself through hell?"

"Uh, you know quite a lot, don't you?" Feng Xue said, looking at Miss Ke Family in surprise that she even knew this much. She immediately realized from his expression that he was underestimating her, and said, "I may have been around for quite a while, given my age, but don't treat me like one of those old fossils. My hobby is experiencing all kinds of lives, after all!"
