"Scanning..."
"Detected alien race genetic material. A bunch of knockoffs—rating: not even dogs would take them. Recommend direct conversion to energy..."
"Warning! One minute and thirty seconds until this alien gene enters decay phase. Resolve quickly. 👌👽"
Jupiter looked at the group of bootleg Namekians before him and laughed. He had to hurry—if he didn't act, in another minute and a half, these aliens who hadn't adjusted for dimensional time lag would die right in front of him.
"Who is that..."
The Viltrumite Youth Group stared up at the man radiating golden light, frozen in place.
"Brother..."
Mark naturally noticed Jupiter descending like a Heavenly God and called out instinctively.
"Damn, that flashy guy flying up there is this rookie's brother? What, is their whole family made of superpowered freaks?!"
Rex, wearing a red skintight suit that looked more like a sewer worker's outfit than a Superhero's, glanced between Mark in the pit and Jupiter soaring in the sky like a god. His motor mouth started running again.
"Shut it, Rex. No one's gonna think you're mute if you keep quiet!"
Atom Eve, a beautiful woman with light orange hair in a pink skintight suit, couldn't help snapping back at Rex.
"Shhhh!"
In the instant they traded words, a rain of laser fire rained down on Jupiter in the sky.
"Brother!"
Mark's heart clenched as he watched Jupiter get hit. He shouted, full of worry.
"Damn, with that many lasers hitting him, I'd say he's been blown to pieces. So flying isn't all that impressive—not everyone's Omni-Man."
Rex kept running his mouth as he watched Jupiter swallowed by smoke and explosions.
"Rex!"
Eve shot Rex a glare. She wanted to teach him a lesson, but now wasn't the time.
"Robot, hold the shield for me. I'm going up to check."
Eve looked at Robot and spoke softly.
"Got it."
Robot nodded and took over Eve's position, reinforcing the shield.
"Mm."
Eve gave a slight nod and flew into the air.
"Rex, you really should talk less."
Robot watched Eve leave, then turned his body to look at Rex behind him.
"Fine, fine! All my fault."
Rex shrugged off the apology with a sneer, as cocky as ever.
"Phew!"
In the sky, Jupiter gave a light puff, blowing away the smoke around him. Those lasers hadn't even scratched his Steel Body. As for why Mark got beaten to a pulp? Come on—before Mark got his powers, he spent most of his time on computers and other junk, unlike Jupiter, who had honed his body with total dedication.
"Hey, you okay?"
Eve flew up with her powers and greeted Jupiter, who was completely unharmed.
"You're impressive."
"Use your abilities to save as many people as you can."
Jupiter looked at Eve for a moment, then gave a slight nod. This girl had potential—too bad she was with the wrong people right now...
"Mark, take that old man to the hospital!"
"Youth Group, leave the rescue work to you. Leave these aliens to me..."
Jupiter spoke in a commanding tone, issuing clear orders to Mark and the young superheroes of the Youth Group.
"Now it's my turn to shine!"
Jupiter turned into a bolt of lightning, charging straight at the ragtag group of aliens.
Jupiter was like a speeding war chariot. Every alien in his path was like paper—the moment they touched him, they shattered into pieces.
With Jupiter joining the fight, the pressure on the Youth Group vanished instantly. All the aliens focused their fire on Jupiter.
"Damn! What does he take us for? His lackeys? Or does he think he's the leader of the Youth Group?!"
Rex watched Jupiter tearing through the enemy and shouted in fury.
"Rex, we'd better do what he says."
Robot stared at Jupiter's back, his eyes flickering with electronic light. Finally, he reached a conclusion: they weren't needed here anymore.
"He's just like Omni-Man..."
Eve used her powers, clearing rubble and rescuing civilians as she watched Jupiter's back, unable to help but say it.
"Omni-Man? Don't talk crap. He's just some guy throwing his weight around with superpowers. If I had them, I could do the same!"
Rex heard Eve's words and immediately felt annoyed, as if his pride had been trampled.
"..."
"Rex, how can you say that? He saved us."
Eve shot Rex a glare, then turned and walked away.
"Hey! Eve! No way? You're not seriously mad at me over some Omni-Man cosplayer, are you?"
Rex raised an eyebrow at Eve. He hadn't expected her to get angry over something so trivial.
"..."
Eve ignored Rex, continuing to use her powers, tirelessly performing rescues.
"God! She's really mad!"
Rex felt a bit dejected. He knew Eve was genuinely upset.
"Rex, you should watch your mouth!"
Robot couldn't help but remind him.
Meanwhile, while everyone was busy with rescue efforts, Jupiter was having a blast.
"Let me show you this move!"
"Viltrumite Staff Technique!"
Jupiter yanked a streetlamp out of the ground, swinging the massive ten-meter pole wildly, flailing it around like crazy...
"Boom!"
With a sonic boom, a row of aliens standing in a line were smashed to pulp like cucumbers!
Jupiter seemed to find the pole unwieldy, so he swapped it mid-swing for a road sign, swatting them like flies, thrashing about relentlessly.
The aliens were utterly routed before Jupiter, unable to mount any resistance.
Until a beam of light struck Jupiter's back.
"..."
The rampaging Jupiter turned around.
He met the terrified gaze of a tank driver.
Perfect. The guy had successfully caught Jupiter's attention.
"And this move!"
Jupiter hoisted the Cucumberian tank with one hand, ignoring whether there was a driver inside.
"Invincible Bowling Ball!"
With a graceful motion, Jupiter hurled the tank, crushing hundreds of armed aliens into fragments before it slammed into the spacetime portal behind them and exploded!
"Boom!"
Jupiter listened to the roar, a faint smile on his lips. What a pleasant sound~
"Notice: Thirty seconds until the alien cells enter their weakened phase."
Jupiter glanced at the system prompt and decided to get serious.
"Come on!"
With that, Jupiter turned into a streak of light. In an instant, countless aliens flew into the sky, and tanks shattered into pieces.
"Blah blah blah! Blah blah blah!"
An alien with its eyes gouged out stared at the scene, shouting in fury. It knew that with Jupiter here, their plan was ruined, so it turned and activated the time portal.
"Trying to run?!"
Jupiter kneaded all the tanks together like dough into a massive iron ball and hurled it into the portal.
"Take your trash with you, you idiots!"
Jupiter didn't know if they could hear him, but he raised an international friendly gesture toward the portal while yelling at the aliens to take their garbage.
When everything settled, Jupiter crossed his arms over his chest, surveying the devastated street with a satisfied nod. He'd done a damn good job.
