Background / History
Mark is Jupiter's younger twin brother and Nolan's son. He awakens superpowers shortly after Jupiter, excitedly comparing himself to a Saiyan and immediately wanting to demonstrate what he can do 2. Unlike Jupiter's extensive combat training, Mark initially relies on raw strength and is quickly subdued when the brothers spar; Nolan advises him to improve gradually 3.
His early superhero activity is marked by enthusiasm, property damage, and inexperience. He defeats a Rock Armor criminal through high-speed flight and impact, then proudly seeks Jupiter's approval despite having wrecked part of the street 7. He later adopts the hero name Invincible Young Hero and begins operating alongside the Viltrumite Youth Group 14 15.
Mark joins Jupiter and Nolan in the public emergence of a new generation of heroes after the Global Guardians' destruction 29. Although Robot invites him to the rebuilt Global Guardians, Mark hesitates because Nolan wants to train him personally; Jupiter joins directly 30.
Mark's confidence suffers when he is manipulated into assisting Titan against Mechanical Head. After defeating several of Mechanical Head's enforcers, he is overwhelmingly defeated by Berserk Beast and rescued by Jupiter 95 97. He later continues traveling and training, eventually helping train Clark Kent in the demands of superhero work 299.
Appearance
Mark is typically depicted in superhero battle suits rather than civilian clothing.
- Initially wears an orange-yellow bodysuit made by Atro 8.
- Later wears a blue-and-yellow battle suit as Invincible Young Hero 95.
- Uses a black-and-white battle suit during his confrontation with Berserk Beast 97.
Personality
Mark is eager, stubborn, and deeply invested in becoming a worthy hero. He seeks recognition from Jupiter and Nolan, but repeatedly feels overshadowed by his older brother's overwhelming strength and confidence 2 3 14.
Despite his immaturity, Mark is compassionate and willing to help apparent victims. Jupiter exploits this instinct when steering him toward Titan's scheme against Mechanical Head 95. Mark is also resilient: even after severe defeats, he continues trying to improve and later passes on the harsh lessons he learned to Clark 97 299.
Abilities & Skills
Viltrumite Physiology
Mark awakens superhuman abilities inherited through his Viltrumite bloodline.
- Can fly at high speed and use aerial momentum as a weapon 7.
- Possesses strength sufficient to defeat superpowered criminals and destroy an armored machine 96.
- Displays substantial durability and recovery, though opponents such as Berserk Beast can severely injure him 96 97.
- His power remains far below Jupiter's; Dr. Genos and Jack explicitly note the disparity between the brothers 100.
Hand-to-Hand Combat
Mark begins with little practical fighting ability and depends largely on brute force.
- Is easily restrained by Jupiter despite possessing comparable newly awakened powers 3.
- Improves through repeated field combat, defeating Heat Gun Man, Tentacle Man, and an Armored Machine 96.
- Trains Clark Kent on Mount Everest, emphasizing strength, speed, reactions, and heat vision as prerequisites for heroism 299.
Heroic Resolve
Mark continues to act despite fear, injury, and uncertainty.
- Helps civilians and confronts criminals even when he lacks full confidence 7 95.
- Refuses to surrender during his first fight with Jupiter 3.
- Faces Berserk Beast after defeating Mechanical Head's other enforcers, though he is decisively outmatched 96 97.

- Nolan / Omni-Man — Father and trainer. Nolan intervenes in Mark's spar with Jupiter and stresses gradual training 3.
- Atom Eve — Fellow young superhero who saves Mark during the alien attack; Mark later thanks her and joins her group’s circle 12 14.
