Yang Zhengshan helped Emperor Yanping expose the Shenyang Sect, establish new institutions to regulate martial artists, and bring the Imperial Merchant Bureau under court control. As the court moved to win over Innate Martial Artists, rival forces converged on Cuixia Valley and the Star Origin Fruit Tree, leaving a confrontation imminent.

• Yang Zhengshan led the attack on Chunzai Hall, killed Red Monarch after a battle at Zhengyang Gate, and helped uncover the Shenyang Sect’s role in Nan Sheng’s rebellion.
• Yang Zhengshan proposed sect rankings, Martial Dao academies, and a supervisory agency, then became Prince An and Prince Dai’s teacher and arranged for An Yuxing to teach Yang Chengmou.
• Yang Zhengshan advised the court on the Imperial Merchant Bureau and Martial Arts Pavilion, confronted Prince Ning over his attempt to seize the Luo Family’s glass shops, and secured Prince Ning’s house arrest and departure for his fief.

Yang Zhengshan secured imperial authority over the Innate Martial Artists, handled threats and family affairs, and accepted command of a naval campaign against the Star Moon Sect and its allies. The arc ended with him organizing the Four Seas Naval Force and preparing Zhaowu Guard as its base.

• Yang Zhengshan defeated the attackers at Cuixia Valley, exposed Jing Changyuan’s role in provoking them, and later had Zhang Luan destroy Lingxiu Villa.
• Yang Zhengshan announced the Imperial Venerable title and stipends for Innate Martial Artists, then helped establish a Venerable Hall and an Innate Martial Arts Banquet.
• Yang Zhengshan returned to the Capital, refined Bone Strengthening Pills, and helped Xue Qiao'er gather precious medicines for her prescription.
• Lin Zhan took office in ravaged Yuzhou, confronted the Haizhou Guard’s failures, and executed Wang De'an and Zhang Bei after they led soldiers to demand provisions and pay.

Yang Zhengshan defeated the Star Moon Sect, secured its island as a base, and received a hereditary marquis title as the Four Seas Naval Force was reorganized. After escorting Yang Wanqing to her wedding, he encountered Xue Qiao’er’s group in the Cloud Mist Mountains and learned she was gathering ingredients to inherit a holy spirit.

• Yang Zhengshan assembled the Four Seas Naval Force at Zhaowu Guard, sent Yu Tonghai to Dongyang Island, and trained the troops while preparing to attack the Star Moon Sect.
• Yu Tonghai defeated the Star Moon Sect fleet near Dongyang Island, captured Wang Mingjian and Li Chengzhang, and returned with prisoners and seized ships.
• Yue Hongyi’s forces fought Yang Zhengshan’s fleet in a storm, but Yang Zhengshan killed Yue Minghua and his forces captured Full Moon Island.
• Yang Zhengshan accepted Deng Yuehe’s defection, ordered the Star Moon Sect’s remaining clans to move to Da Rong, and kept Star Moon Island as a base for the Yang Family.
• Emperor Yanping made Yang Zhengshan a first-rank hereditary Marquis of Jing'an and reorganized the Four Seas Naval Force into regional commands.
