Yang Zhengshan prepared the Yang Family to contend for the realm while Yang Chengye assembled allies and armies. After Great Liang captured the capital and Emperor Jianxing died, Yang Chengye and Chen Hengchang emerged as rival powers, with the Guo Family’s allegiance still uncertain.

• Ji Zhen sent Ji Hai to seek Yang Zhengshan’s support, while Chen Wansong and Chen Zhaojun decided Da Rong needed Yang Zhengshan’s return.
• Yang Zhengshan punished Yang Mingzhao for rebelling, then told him to settle the question of the throne with Yang Chengye, who soon arrived on Shenmu Island.
• Yang Zhengshan declared that the Yang Family had established the Dajing Dynasty, and Chen Mingxi abandoned her appeal for him to return to Da Rong.

Yang Zhengshan helped Yang Chengye defeat Great Liang and establish Great An, then guided the new dynasty through reforms, alliances, and preparations for war. As Great An faced threats from Chen Hengchang and the Wuliang coalition, Yang Mingzhi led a daring raid that captured the Tatar Banner Land.

• Yang Ziqiao urged the Guo Family to seek refuge with the Yang Family as the Taiping Army took Yuzhou, while Chongshan Town’s forces surrounded the Capital and advanced on Baoding.
• Yang Zhengshan rejected a plan to wait out Great Liang and ordered Chongshan Town to attack, and its forces routed Emperor Tianwu’s army at Baoding.
• Yang Zhengshan killed Wang He and Emperor Tianwu, offered the surviving Great Liang leaders a place in the new order, and Yang Chengye’s forces took the Capital.
• Yang Chengye founded Great An, while Yang Zhengshan advised him on military, government, and economic reforms and urged him to focus on rebuilding rather than expanding into Jiangnan.

Yang Zhengshan moved his family into the Spirit Source Land, crossed the Storm Sea Region, and entered Great Zhao in search of Martial God Realm cultivation methods. He took control of the impoverished Lingxi Mountain Yang Family and began gathering resources while the Nanqing Xiang Family watched him.

• Yang Mingzhi and Song Dashan helped defeat the Wuliang Royal Court and the Ongud Tribe, while Yang Chengye’s army defeated Chen Hengchang’s forces and Yang Zhengshan established the Lingyuan Yang Clan in the Spirit Source Land.
• Yang Zhengshan departed Shenmu Island with Daoist Xuan Zhen and companions, survived the Storm Sea Region, and landed in Great Zhao, where martial sects controlled the land.
• Yang Zhengshan’s party learned about Great Zhao’s Martial God inheritances and traveled to Shanggu Prefecture, where Yang Zhengshan studied local cultivation methods and witnessed Sun Qingrui fight Lu Fusheng.

Yang Zhengshan expanded the Yang Family’s territory, advanced his cultivation, and helped develop its runic and alchemy skills. He entered the Ancient Relic Formation, where the Wolf King’s offerings led him to discover immortal cultivation methods.

• Yang Zhengshan broke through to the Heavenly Dipper Stage, while the Crimson Flame Army destroyed the Yu and Xiang Families and later granted him the Wan Family’s gold pool and spirit fields.
• Yang Zhengshan and Wang Mingzhe used the Spirit-Guiding Seal to improve their understanding of runes and began experimenting with furnace alchemy.
• Lan Peng explained the dangers of the Ancient Relic Formation, and Yang Zhengshan agreed to enter despite its risks and the Lu Family’s thousand-Spirit-Stone fee.
• Yang Zhengshan joined the Lu Family’s group in Ancient Prefecture City and entered the formation with the Twelve Great Clans and the Three Great Sects.
• Yang Zhengshan fought off a venomous snake and reached the Dharma Transmission Hall, where Azure Wolves repeatedly blocked his path.
