Namikawa Yū gained Wood Release and Nine-Tails power before defending the Land of Whirlpools from Kumogakure and negotiating the Uzumaki Clan’s relocation to Konoha. As the migrants settled and Madara took an interest in Yū, the Hyuga Clan confronted how much it had fallen behind Konoha’s changes.

• Namikawa Yū approved Hiruko’s Chimera Technique test, and Hiruko gained Wood Release, after which Yū used the technique on himself to absorb Hashirama Cells and gain Wood Release.
• Namikawa Yū fused the Nine-Tails’ flesh and blood into himself, gained control of its chakra, and demonstrated his new power to the Nine-Tails.
• Namikawa Yū warned Uzumaki Mito that Kumogakure threatened the Land of Whirlpools and persuaded her to support relocating the Uzumaki Clan to the Land of Fire.
• The Third Raikage attacked the Land of Whirlpools, but Namikawa Yū arrived with Konoha reinforcements, defeated him with Wood Release, and negotiated compensation and agreements with Kumogakure.
• Namikawa Yū secured the Third Raikage’s agreement to provide an Eight-Tails tentacle, share Lightning Release Chakra Mode techniques, recognize Ninja Coins, and accept Konoha Bank investment.
• Uzumaki Sōmei agreed to move most of the Uzumaki Clan to the Land of Fire, while Namikawa Yū asked Mito to teach him the Reaper Death Seal as a precaution against Uchiha Madara.
• Black Zetsu reported Namikawa Yū’s chakra to Madara, who became interested in him, as Uzumaki migrants arrived in Konoha and settled on land arranged by Namikawa Yū.
• The Hyuga Clan Head and Elders recognized that their clan had missed Konoha’s reforms and admitted that its members resented other clans’ growing prosperity.

Namikawa Yū transformed Konoha into the center of a united Ninja Federation while strengthening his powers and deceiving Black Zetsu. The Federation brought peace and prosperity, but Uchiha Madara recommitted to the Eye of the Moon Plan, and Yū awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan in preparation for their coming clash.

• The Hyuga Clan Head and elders agreed to ease the clan’s isolation and prepare a wedding gift to improve their standing with Namikawa Yū and Konoha.
• Namikawa Yū protected Hiruko from the Nine-Tails’ cells, then released Hiruzen Sarutobi from his seal and welcomed him back to Konoha.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi saw Konoha’s prosperity, accepted the Deputy Hokage position, and agreed not to obstruct Namikawa Yū’s reforms.
• Namikawa Yū married Tsunade, noticed Black Zetsu at the wedding, and later convinced him that he supported Otsutsuki Kaguya’s revival.
• Namikawa Yū expanded Konoha’s influence through an alliance with Sunagakure, while Uchiha Madara visited Konoha and saw its growing prosperity.
• Namikawa Yū trained with Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama, then six years later proposed a Ninja Federation and forced Ōnoki and the Third Raikage to join.
• The five great ninja villages formed the Federation, which Namikawa Yū led as Hiruzen Sarutobi became Hokage, and it later completed a decade of reconstruction.
• Uchiha Madara chose to pursue the Eye of the Moon Plan and collect the Nine Tailed Beasts, while Namikawa Yū awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and demonstrated its techniques and Susanoo to Nine-Tails.

Namikawa Yū stopped Uchiha Madara’s attempt to gather the Tailed Beasts, then left the Ninja World after arranging for the Federation to continue without him. Back in Konoha, he helped expose Orochimaru’s experiments and weaken Shimura Danzō’s control of Root.

• Uchiha Madara took Shukaku from Sunagakure, but Namikawa Yū confronted him and later joined the assembled villages to defend the Three-Tails in Kirigakure.
• Namikawa Yū and the revived Kage fought Madara, and Yū used his awakened Karma to defeat him, kill him, and take his Rinnegan.
• Namikawa Yū consumed Madara’s corpse, sealed Black Zetsu away, and stepped down as Federal Leader as the villages prepared to choose his successor.
• Uchiha Akira won the Federation leadership contest, and Namikawa Yū revived the Senju brothers and others before entrusting the Rinnegan to Senju Hashirama and Uzumaki Mito and leaving the world.
• After returning to Konoha, Namikawa Yū supported Namikaze Minato’s rise to Hokage and investigated Orochimaru’s experiments, discovering that Konoha ninja including Yamato were being used as subjects.
• Namikawa Yū gave Minato evidence linking Shimura Danzō and Root to Orochimaru’s work, then fought off Orochimaru when he attacked and helped reveal Orochimaru’s crimes.
• Minato appointed Uchiha Yakumi as Root’s deputy leader and ordered Danzō to remove Root’s cursed seals, weakening Danzō’s authority.
