"Zhang, you... you pervert!" Little Deer covered her chest and crouched on the floor. The shame and indignation on her face showed just how much she minded being ogled.
Jiang Yue spread his hands innocently. "How is this my fault? That sleazy guy with the tinted glasses told me."
"Liar! Why would a crooked gambler tell you something like that? Besides, you two are enemies. You even broke his fingers. Why would he still be in the mood to tell you?"
Jiang Yue sighed. "Why won't you believe me? Guess how he and his accomplice cheated."
Little Deer replayed the earlier scene in her mind, and uncertainty crept into her expression.
"You mean that guy really has X-ray vision?"
"Of course. Otherwise, how could he use hand signals to tell the flat-nosed guy what cards they had?"
"Ugh! That sleazebag is awful. He used his X-ray vision to ogle me?"
"Not just you. There was that sexy dealer, too. The guy kept staring at her breasts and butt whenever he got the chance. And he really was impressive, doing so many things at once without missing a beat." Jiang Yue chuckled.
"Did he look at me more often, or at that Green Tea dealer?"
Jiang Yue rubbed his nose, at a loss for words.
Little Deer's sudden change of subject had caught him completely off guard.
A moment ago, she'd been mortified and furious. Why was she asking this now?
Was she upset because he hadn't looked at her enough?
"Well, according to my incomplete tally, he seemed to look at the dealer more often."
Little Deer's temper flared. "Why? Why did he look at her more often? What good is X-ray vision? He might as well be blind. What does that calculating Green Tea have on me?"
