Background / History
Jiang Yue is a descendant of the Jiang family of Panshi Ridge. His father is Jiang Qiao, while his grandfather Jiang Yunhe was locally known as “Old Man Yunhe,” an “Old Immortal” reputed to exorcise evil spirits and ghosts. These stories cause many outsiders to associate Jiang Yue’s unusual knowledge and talents with his family lineage 124.
At the start of the bizarre era, Jiang Yue is a student at Yangfan Middle School living with his younger brother San Gou. Their parents’ disappearance weighs on him, but he attempts to maintain normalcy and protect his family. He receives a mysterious talisman directing him to Villa No. 9 in Daozi Lane, a location that later becomes his residence and operational base 9 124.
His early involvement in supernatural incidents brings him to the attention of the Star City Action Bureau and the military. His actions in Yunxi Town and at Panshi Ridge establish him as an unusually capable young Awakener, while his defense of Nine Li Pavilion earns recognition and rewards from the Spirit 85 124.
Jiang Yue increasingly operates beyond his role as a student: investigating conspiracies, fighting ghosts and criminal organizations, infiltrating hostile factions under assumed identities, and gathering intelligence. He eventually becomes a leading figure in Star City and is elected as an Executive Director of the Joint Command Group during Operation Sky Punishment 509 593 978.

While capable of kindness and diplomacy, Jiang Yue is ruthless toward persistent enemies. He uses intimidation, control talismans, deception, and lethal force when he judges them necessary, particularly against those who endanger innocents or repeatedly target him 173 336 423 511.
