The three Mushroom People had finally managed to find a table in a corner of a tavern. They waited for nearly half an hour before the server brought out all the food and drinks they had ordered.
The server even looked unhappy, as if business was keeping him so busy that he couldn't be bothered to serve customers like the Mushroom People.
Jiang Yue and the others were long used to being unwelcome wherever they went because of their Mushroom People identities. Dirty looks and cold shoulders were nothing unusual.
The Adventurers' Guild had been spreading rumors that the three Mushroom People had attached themselves to the Abyss Clan, but rumors were just rumors. In the end, only a handful of people had actually seen the three Mushroom People with their own eyes.
They couldn't expect every tavern worker to recognize the three of them.
