"San Gou, I'm downstairs. Get down here quick—we've got something to take care of."
Jiang Yue called his aunt and told her to have San Gou answer the phone and come downstairs.
San Gou was cooped up at home and feeling restless anyway. The moment he heard his second brother calling, he was down in a flash.

San Gou looked completely bewildered. "Where are we going? Why'd you borrow a dog out of the blue?"
"That reward you were so keen on?" Jiang Yue suddenly asked.
"Oh? Second Brother, you've come around? I knew it! You still have to make money. Money can't solve everything, but without money, you can't do anything!"
San Gou launched into a long-winded lecture, ready to share his secrets to making money.
Jiang Yue didn't give him the chance. "If you want to come, keep quiet."
It was a simple threat, but an effective one.
San Gou obediently shut his mouth. After holding back for a while, he couldn't help saying, "Second Brother, you can't just borrow some random dog and expect them to pay the reward. Dogs are loyal. They're attached to their owners. If you show up with some unrelated dog, they won't pay you."
