Chen Lin flickered and landed on a small island.
He immediately scanned his surroundings, then reached up and took something off the top of his head.
It was pale yellow all over and very smooth. It looked like a bronze mirror, only much smaller than an ordinary one, barely an inch across.
This was what had brought him here.
Without examining it further, Chen Lin could tell that this little bronze mirror was a Medium Object.
And this place was the Nightmare Realm.
He had actually been forcibly dragged into a Nightmare Realm scenario!
Who did this?
Chen Lin's expression kept shifting.
The most likely culprit was the master of the Chaos Thunder Pond.
He had devoured the origin essence of their treasure, so it was only natural for them to act against him. But if that was the case, Grass was not the reincarnation of the Thunder Pond's master. She was more likely its artifact spirit.
An artifact spirit had helped an outsider devour her master's treasure. It was easy to imagine how that master must have felt.
Presumably, something had happened to them, leaving them unable to appear and stop him. Unable to swallow their anger, they had produced this bronze mirror and sent him into this Nightmare Realm scenario.
Whether they wanted his life or had some other purpose remained unknown.
Thoughts churned through his mind.
After some speculation, Chen Lin felt he was close to the mark. Even if he had not hit upon the truth, he could not be far off.
Otherwise, such an unusual Medium Object could not possibly have appeared out of nowhere and struck him.
What puzzled him, however, was that ever since he had finished merging with Nian Kong, he had become half a Nightmare Realm creature and was largely unaffected
