Hearing Lu Ming's words, Chen Lin immediately looked at him and repeated them as a question.
This was something even the Azure-Crested Heavenly Palace needed. He had been asking around all this time without finding any relevant information, yet unexpectedly, Lu Ming had mentioned it.
"Aren't you an attendant of the Azure-Crested Heavenly Palace? How can you not know about Exquisite Treasure Chests?"
Lu Ming looked puzzled.
Chen Lin gave a dry laugh.
"To be honest, Great King, I only joined the Azure-Crested Heavenly Palace recently. Senior Bai Lingyu is the only person I know there, so I'm not very familiar with it."
"I see."
Understanding dawned on Lu Ming's face.
Then he said smugly, "Senior Bai is no ordinary powerhouse. The fact that you've won her favor is proof enough of your worth. It seems my eye for talent is exceptional indeed."
He went on to explain.
"Exquisite Treasure Chests are opportunities left behind by the Creator of the World. Only those destined for them can obtain them. They're very difficult to encounter in ordinary regions now, though. If you want one, you'll have to try your luck in the Darkness Zone."
"Could you describe what these chests look like, Great King?"
Chen Lin continued questioning him.
Treasure chests appeared frequently in this world, in all manner of shapes and types. He had obtained quite a few himself before, and wondered whether there was any connection.
"They're very small, only about three inches across."
Lu Ming gestured with his hands.
Then he said, "Their design is much like the treasure chests on the Life Ferry. The chests Wenchen Ke makes are all modeled after Exquisite Treasure Chests."
The palm-sized treasure chests from the ferry gatherings immediately surfaced in Chen Lin's mind.
