Chen Lin picked up the Resurrection Ring first.
This was a fine treasure, equivalent to an extra life. He just did not know whether it would revive him on the spot or let him choose where he revived.
He studied it for a while.
When he found that he could not leave a mark on it, Chen Lin was somewhat disappointed. That meant it activated passively and would undoubtedly revive him on the spot. Since it could only be used in the Second Trial, its restrictions were rather severe.
He slipped the ring onto his finger.
Then he picked up a blue stone the size of a fist, which gave off a hazy glow. Besides this one, there were three red stones, each slightly smaller.
He tested it.
He could cultivate by drawing out the energy within. It was very gentle, but otherwise little different from a spirit stone.
After a moment of thought,
Chen Lin put the energy stones away as well.
They might have other uses. They would not help much with cultivation, so it was better to keep them for now.
He also had a Minor Realm Pill.
Chen Lin placed the pill in his palm.
As its name suggested,
this pill could raise his cultivation by one minor realm. He was currently at Law Origin Early-Stage, so taking it would advance him to Law Origin Mid-Stage.
Using it now would be somewhat wasteful. He would save it too.
Next was the Sound Transmission Horn.
It was a precious tool similar to a voice transmission talisman, but since it was a reward, it was bound to have some special function.
Having inspected all his treasures,
Chen Lin sank his awareness into his consciousness sea.
There was a phantom image of a flower there.
It was extraordinarily beautiful.
