Chen Lin watched intently as the treasure chest opened.
He was very curious what this Star-Marked Treasure Chest would contain, and what reward he would receive after completing the Second Heavenly Dao's task.
The light faded.
An elongated object appeared before him.
It was golden all over, with colorful lines forming an exquisite pattern on its surface.
Unable to make anything of it, and with no prompt sound forthcoming, Chen Lin first tested it. After confirming there was no danger, he picked it up.
"An admission ticket?"
Once he held the object, Chen Lin understood its purpose. He did not need to examine it; the knowledge came naturally.
It was an admission ticket. With it, he could enter a place called Dandian Paradise, but there was no indication of where this paradise was or what he could obtain inside.
Chen Lin was somewhat puzzled.
He had thought the Star-Marked Exquisite Treasure Chest would help him complete the Ascension Trial or sabotage it, but this admission ticket seemed unrelated to either.
He waited a while longer.
When no further prompt came, Chen Lin put the ticket away, still puzzled.
Whatever the case, he had completed a task from the Second Heavenly Dao, so at least he had something to show for himself.

He only needed to devote himself fully to completing the Ascension Trial's task.

Just as Chen Lin was pondering, a tremendous crash suddenly rang out. The seawater began shaking violently, and terrifying energy fluctuations surged toward him, forcing him to hastily defend himself.
Without pausing.
Chen Lin immediately shot out of the sea and looked toward the ship in the distance.
Light flashed over there as all manner of spells and precious tools bombarded one another, producing waves of humming.
The ship rocked violently, threatening to capsize
