Chen Lin looked at the woman before him, disbelief written across his face.
"Madam White Bone?"
He raised an eyebrow.
Then he added, "Or should I call you Xuanyin True Lord, or perhaps Soulless Patriarch?"
The woman's figure and appearance were identical to those of Madam White Bone back in the Lower Realm. But that Madam White Bone had already died, and she had been Li Xuanming's clone, while Li Xuanming had been Xuanyin True Lord's clone.
Xuanyin True Lord, in turn, was Soulless Patriarch's clone.
The relationship was rather complicated.
"Madam White Bone, of course. But I don't like that nickname. You should call me Shen Lingyu, my dear Chen."
Madam White Bone answered with a smile.
Her gaze lingered on Chen Lin's face.
She licked her lips and said, "You've stirred the winds and clouds in the Seven-Star Realm, my dear Chen, and I'm utterly smitten. When we tumbled together like phoenixes in flight back then, the pleasure left my whole body tingling even now when I remember it. I never expected to meet you here today. Why don't we rekindle our old romance?"
Chen Lin raised an eyebrow.
"Your memories must be scrambled. There was never anything between us. Tell me, who exactly are you, and why can you use the Soul-Pulling Guide?"
As he spoke,
he used the Soul-Destroying Finger on the spiraling shadow inside the Soul Cage.
A few strikes were enough to destroy it.
Madam White Bone watched quietly, showing no reaction.
Chen Lin dispersed the Soul Cage and glanced at her. Once he confirmed that she had been unaffected, he immediately activated his soul perception to check the surroundings for her accomplices.
"I am who I am."
Madam White Bone swayed as she took two steps forward.
"The old me is already dead.
