Chen Lin calmed himself completely and continued testing.

Though the object could accumulate Qi Luck Force and release it all at once, it did not raise his Qi Luck ceiling by much. It could not compare to the Fortunate Art.

If he had to make a comparison, it was like a reusable Qi Luck Fish.

Chen Lin named it the Fortune Accumulation Orb, meaning an orb that could store up fortune.

Even so, the object was quite extraordinary, because it had no side effects—or very minor ones, at least.

That was because it drew in Qi Luck differently from the Fortunate Art.

The Fortunate Art borrowed against one's Qi Luck for a certain period in the future. This object first stored the user's own Qi Luck within it, and it was nowhere near as forceful as the Fortunate Art. Unless the user actively increased the flow of Qi Luck Force into it, the object drew it in very slowly on its own.

Drawing only a little Qi Luck each day would have no consequences for someone whose Qi Luck was normal.

He could sense it because he had a Talent Ability in this area. Someone without that ability would never notice their own Qi Luck Force draining away. They might even think the object's Qi Luck Force replenished itself.

At that natural rate, however, filling the orb would take at least three months. In other words, under normal circumstances, it could only be used once every three months.

Of course, that applied to other people.

He had Destiny Talent and could control the rate at which Qi Luck Force flowed into it, making it as slow or as fast as he liked.
