Chen Lin was conscripted by two Second Legion war generals and fought back when he realized they meant him harm, killing them at the cost of his physical body. As he recovered his soul, Zhen Yu gathered the corpses and searched for Chen Lin’s Storage Ring.

• Cabbage Man and Kettle Woman conscripted Chen Lin and Zhen Yu, claiming the spirit planter contingent had been wiped out.
• Chen Lin attacked the two war generals with his secret arts, then continued fighting after his body was destroyed and his soul separated.

• Chen Lin studied the Dark Gold Saber and discovered the Star Dou Script characters “Severing affection” on its hilt, then found faint divisions on the Tetrahedron Cube that only Grass could see.
