Background / History

Liu Yanyang is a transmigrator from Earth who dies in a car accident and awakens in the body of a six-year-old boy on the Douluo Continent. His reborn family is destroyed over a top-grade medicinal herb, leaving him to bury his parents and swear vengeance upon Salis, the City Lord of Extreme North City who ordered the pursuit. 1

After awakening the Dragon Roar Spear with Innate Full Soul Power, he inherits his parents' storage Soul Tools, wealth, herbs, the rings Cheng Ying and Han Guang, and the Douluo Treasure Record. He seeks refuge through Dean Shui of Skywater Academy, but leaves Skywater City quickly to avoid pursuit. 2 3

He reaches an agreement with Yang Wudi of the Breaking Clan: in exchange for the Aromatic Silk Beauty, Yang Wudi will shelter him for six years, teach him spear techniques, provide access to Soul Ring records, and help him hunt Soul Beasts.
