I didn't see a thing
"Thank you... If you hadn't done that, I doubt any of these nurses would have been able to get to work."
The doctor who had led the way and spoken to wild wolf earlier nodded at me as he spoke.
"It's nothing..."
I closed my eyes and shook my head. It really wasn't a big deal. Besides, wild wolf had been in the wrong. Who barged into an operating room to watch
a surgery? The guy wasn't even a trainee.
"Um..."
"Yes?"
"May I ask what sort of injury you have that requires surgery?"
Uh... Okay, maybe this was the first time this doctor had encountered someone brought straight into surgery without so much as an examination?
"Left shoulder... Two shots, through and through. A Type 92 handgun, fired at close range."
I glanced at the doctor. He seemed calm enough, but he lacked experience. I raised my hand and pointed at my left shoulder,
then looked at him.
"One shot damaged a major artery. The vessel probably needs suturing. The other hit some ligaments and muscle tissue,
which need disinfecting. The gunshot also left
some tissue missing from my back. It can recover, but the bleeding needs to be stopped."
I had an exceptionally thorough understanding of injuries. I hadn't possessed this ability before. Maybe it was because I had been reborn
once and reconstructed
my entire body myself. That gave me an inexplicable awareness of every tiny detail of my body, so I could pinpoint
the exact nature of an injury and how
to treat it.
"Did you study medicine?"
The doctor nodded, then turned and gestured to a nurse. I didn't know what the gesture meant. Before I could
turn my gaze to the nurse, the
doctor turned back and asked me
