mannequin, I froze.

stood why this mannequin was
so much like a real person.

A muffled sound suddenly came from behind me. I instinctively turned around and shone my flashlight over, but... there was only the gate swaying slowly
in the wind. Outside, the rain was still pouring and thunder was rumbling. There was nothing else.

Frowning deeply, I reached down and untied the rope around my body, gently placed my backpack on the floor, and cautiously looked around.
It was a very simple house. The front door opened into a living room, with a room on either side. Straight ahead, there was also a staircase
leading to the second floor.
There were several sofas and some other things in the hall.
Seeing this, I understood that someone definitely lived in this room.
I swept my flashlight around as much as possible while staying alert to every sound.
I held the flashlight in my left hand and drew the PX4 from my waist with my right. At the same time, Tuanzi seemed to sense something and climbed up
my arm, extending forward. One
part wrapped around my right hand, while another directly enveloped the entire PX4.
