I rolled over and sprawled across Gin-san's head. Darkness swam before my eyes.
"Th-this is... so disgusting."
I wanted to pinch my nose shut, but the stench was like thick, viscous air, flowing in and out of my throat.
Just feeling it made me gag again and again.
"ROAR!!!"
With that deafening roar, it started moving again. I forced myself to endure the darkness clouding my vision and opened my eyes to look at the monster's chest.
Two holes, blasted straight through its outer shell, were visible there.
One gaping, smoke-belching hole marred each side of its chest. The flesh around the one on the right had been burned black and peeled outward, while the left one was even worse.
Its white ribs were already exposed, and one spot on them had clearly been scorched.
"So it's not invulnerable... That makes things easier."
Two shots had dealt it that much damage. In other words, a few more should be enough to bring it down!
I gritted my teeth and forced myself to endure the stench that could knock someone unconscious.
"Prepare the 460 twin-barrel Yamato-class main guns!"
"Holy crap!"
Tuanzi reappeared on my right shoulder. Its eyes, huge on its palm-sized body, stared at the monster. At the sound of my voice, it answered at once.
Then I drew the two PX4s from beneath my arms. Black fluid rapidly swallowed the guns in my hands, and in an instant, they had transformed into two enormous cannon barrels!
But just as the barrels stabilized, the gigantic monster suddenly began to accelerate. It didn't look very fast, but given its enormous size, each step covered nearly a hundred meters.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
After a few strides, the monster was already charging toward us.
"Die!!"
I swung the barrels around, aimed straight at
