A bug crawled out to get some air, but
then got so scared it crawled back in.
"Thud~"
I landed right on the plastic sheeting, crushing the zombies trapped underneath it. A muffled roar rose from beneath me.
Beside me, the three zombies that had been tearing at the jeans all turned their heads toward me.
I tossed the panties, which had gone from white lace to red lace, to the zombies, then ran downstairs without looking back.
"My saber..."
I took the stairs several at a time and rushed down to the first landing in three or four steps. At a glance... I spotted the saber lying in the corner, its blade marked with several bite marks!
At the same time, I caught sight of a dark shape out of the corner of my eye...
"Did it charge up from downstairs...?"
I murmured under my breath. The zombie didn't seem very fast to me, but I wasn't much faster myself. Fortunately, I was a little closer to the saber!
After two steps, I picked up the saber and turned to face the charging zombie...
