Because of the infected fluid in her abdomen, Sasha had regained consciousness, but she was still in the intensive care unit.
Today, I was helping her brain tissue recover.
"All right, Tuanzi. That should be enough."
Tuanzi had been truly exhausted lately. Every time it repaired Sasha's brain tissue, I could feel how tired and drowsy it was. I felt bad for it, but there was nothing I could do.
"Holy crap~"
Tuanzi nodded and weakly said something to me, then leaped onto my shoulder and slowly sank into my skin.
"Th... thank you..."
Sasha lay weakly on the hospital bed. Her skin was extremely dry, and there were many yellow spots on her face. She had none of a healthy person's color. Then again, her internal organs had only been transplanted a few days ago. It would take some time for them to bring her body back to normal, and she still needed to recover.
"You're welcome. You're Ning Jing's friend, so helping you is helping my friend."
Sasha smiled faintly. Too much of her brain tissue had been removed, and she'd even lost some of her memories. At least she still remembered Ning Jing and what she'd been through. The missing memories seemed to be from part of her childhood.
Neither Tuanzi nor Doctor Wang could do anything about it.
Brain cells held memories, and when those cells died, the memories they carried disappeared with them.
Smiling, Sasha braced herself against the bed and struggled to sit up. But the part of her brain that was missing had left her with worse coordination than a three-year-old. Even though she tried with all her might, she still couldn't sit up.
Seeing this, Ning Jing hurried over and helped Sasha up.
"Sasha... what are you trying to do?"
Sasha smiled
