"Eh?"
Klein caught another implication in Noah's words.
"Are you leaving?"
"Yes, I have things to do as well."
Klein could understand that, but...
"As for supporting you, don't worry, there will be support. It'll just be in ways you don't know about."
Noah shook his head.
"After all, the person behind the scenes is rather unusual. If something goes wrong on your end as well, then my support will be your chance to turn things around. At least you won't be left completely without hope."
Klein: Then that's fine.
To be honest, Klein himself was not entirely certain that, even with all the information he now possessed, he could resolve this matter. The main issue was that his Sequence was too low, while his opponent's was too high.
Originally, if something went wrong on his side, then all of Tingen City would be finished. He had felt tremendous pressure, yet the way he had learned this secret was itself a secret, leaving him unable to tell anyone else.
Now that Noah had proactively taken on part of the risk and pressure, Klein could hardly have been happier.
By this point, their conversation should have ended, but Noah said to Klein:
"Oh, right. If you have the time, you might want to consider where you should go after this incident is over."
Anyone who took the initiative to sabotage this plan would inevitably bear the hatred of the evil organization whose divine descent had been ruined.
Even if the plan proceeded smoothly, it would still be impossible for Klein to continue living in Tingen City as though nothing had happened.
After saying that, Noah vanished from where he stood. Klein was briefly surprised but did not pay it much mind, instead feeling troubled by what Noah had said before leaving.
