Adam, the Sun God, fell into brief thought as he looked at their assignment sheets, then put them away.
Of course, he knew about George III's advancement plan. The Hermit of Dusk Society had even supported it from the outset.
This matter was already capable of influencing the course of the era to a considerable extent. Naturally, he would not miss it. He was both a participant and a chess player, and he even knew perfectly well what would happen if George III's plan continued.
And now, the Café's assignment sheets were like a judge's gavel falling, clearly conveying Mr. Reed's attitude toward this matter—or rather, matters of this kind.
Judging by how each of them had their own assignments, Reed probably had no intention of leaving George III even a single one of his nine mausoleums.
It seemed the advancement ritual they had prepared, along with certain other plans, would need to be altered.
Setting aside such complicated, mentally taxing matters that were not immediately urgent, Adam, the Sun God, turned his thoughts back to the present priority.
Like Sauron, he could also foresee that George III's ritual would be stopped because it treated the public as expendable materials. Then how was the future Black Emperor supposed to emerge?
But unlike Sauron, Adam, the Sun God, possessed more secret knowledge.
He knew that the Black Emperor could resurrect through the mausoleums used in his past advancement. He also knew who the previous Black Emperor had been, and what sort of person he was.
At the very least, in terms of humanity and concern for the public, that man had indeed done far better than George III.
