Sequence Four was considered the threshold of High Sequence in the Paths of the Gods, the dividing line between humans and gods. Thus, they were called Saints.
At this Sequence, Extraordinary beings underwent two major transformations. The first was that they could awaken an incomplete Mythical Creature form, which was precisely why Sequence Four was considered the point at which one began to possess godlike traits.
The second transformation was that, aside from the three cowardly pathways, Extraordinary beings of other pathways could switch to adjacent Sequences, though they had to bear a certain risk of losing control.
Both were the result of Extraordinary beings gaining a degree of similarity to the source of their pathways after stepping into Sequence Four, beginning to possess several traits shared by adjacent pathways, much like Source Quality.
Of course, for Adam—or rather, his avatars—the second point was meaningless. He had no adjacent pathways, or rather, he was simultaneously walking every adjacent pathway.
As for Mythical Creature forms, they differed for Extraordinary beings of every pathway. Their appearances either tended toward the source of the Extraordinary Characteristics corresponding to their pathways.
For instance, the Mythical Creature forms of the three cowardly pathways came from Star Worms, Time Worms, and Spirit Worms.
Or the Mythical Creature form corresponded to the pinnacle of that pathway.
For example, the Mythical Creature form of an Extraordinary being from the Darkness pathway was the true body of Amanises, the Goddess of the Night: an eight-legged Demon Wolf.
Of course, the original source of that image might also have been the ancient god of the Dark Era, Flegrea, the Demon Wolf of Destruction who had first wielded the Darkness pathway.
Similarly, the Mythical Creature form of the Death pathway came from Gregaire, the progenitor Phoenix, while that of the Visionary
