Klein slept for a day and a half as soon as he boarded the ship. After eating a meal and taking care of bodily needs like bathing and relieving himself, he buried his head and slept for another day.
By the time Klein woke up for the second time and freshened up, they were nearly at their destination.
"Time really flies..."
Klein's expression was somewhat complicated. He had barely felt the passage of those three days; every time he closed and opened his eyes, another day had passed.
Still, thanks to three days of rest without needing to stay distracted or vigilant, Klein felt fully revived. His stomach was a little uncomfortable, though. It was probably because he had suddenly binged after being hungry for so long, then eaten irregularly.
If he had been an ordinary person, he might even have suffered a gastric perforation by now. But for Klein, it was not much of a problem.
No matter how little the Seer pathway strengthened the body, a Sequence Six could hardly die from a gastric perforation without being weakened by a curse or something similar.
"Goodbye~"
Carrying a bag of Seafood Flatbread and a waterskin, Klein jumped ashore and turned to wave at the people aboard the Argo.
"Have a smooth journey~"
Noah waved with a smile.
"Oh, right. As payment for your lodging and meals, your first week's wages are gone."
Hikari waved casually.
The smile on Klein's face froze.
"Huh? But—"
What kind of lodging and meals cost a thousand Gold Pounds?!
Though, if he factored in how urgently he had needed them, it did seem somewhat reasonable...
"Raise anchor and set sail~"
While Klein was still thinking, the Argo had already sailed far away. He looked up at the ship, now little more than a dot
