"Adam, what is True Wind Magic?"
That term had clearly touched on a gap in Gabriel's knowledge.
As a novice magus who had never received a proper magus inheritance and had relied entirely on Adam, a mage from another world, to teach him, Gabriel's knowledge of the magus field was rather uneven.
On one hand, he knew of Mana Skin and Magic Domain, as well as how to cultivate them, and he himself was working toward that goal.
At the same time, he also knew plenty of obscure and profound magical knowledge, sparing him knows how many years of detours compared to other magi.
But for knowledge he had no immediate use for, whether it was common sense or not, Adam usually did not think to mention it, and Gabriel clearly had no other way to learn about it.
"So-called True Magic is elemental magic that uses natural mana to draw upon mana beyond one's own reserves."

"Look at the magic he's using now. The mana it consumes far exceeds his own mana reserves."
"Then shouldn't we run?"
Gabriel gripped the helm to steady himself and could not help looking at the furled sails behind him.
"Run now? Too late!"
Though the surrounding winds howled furiously, the older magus could somehow hear them, and even make his voice reach their ears.
"This Wind God's Grand Overture has buried countless powerful enemies over the past twenty years. You two youngsters should be proud!"
As he spoke, the raging winds formed a curtain around the Black Pearl, while the true attack continued gathering
