"This is the first act of the King of the Four Seas' story."
After Hank agreed to join them under Hans's persuasion, Adam suddenly said this.
"Huh?"
Gabriel froze.
Hank and Hans looked at Adam in surprise. They had not expected the first mate to have such... refined tastes.

If fairy tales needed to be fictional, and he himself did not qualify—wasn't his current identity fictional in the first place?
For a moment, Gabriel felt as though he had grasped something. Yet when he thought it through, he seemed unable to seize any concrete information.
"No rush. This is only the first act."
Adam reassured him.
Gabriel nodded.
"Let's take a look at the stronghold we just captured first."
Hank and Hans, standing nearby, had been utterly baffled by their earlier conversation. But upon hearing that, the corners of their eyes twitched.
They were still standing right here. Couldn't they at least choose their words a little more tactfully?
Still, whether by mage or pirate rules, they had no real right to object.
