Chen Ming thought for a moment, then brought his mouth close to the Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew and sucked hard, drinking two drops of dew.
Poor Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew. It had just enjoyed a good meal, only for Chen Ming to eat it back a hundredfold. Its once-upright flower drooped, its bud closing tightly to protect its remaining essence.
Chen Ming chuckled. This was nothing. If his idea succeeded, he would be able to drink some dew every few days from now on.
Chen Ming sat cross-legged and digested the medicinal properties within him. The Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew was incredibly wondrous. The dew seemed almost nonexistent; the instant Chen Ming drank it, it merged into his body and transformed into the purest Spiritual Power.
The dew contained not the slightest trace of Soul Power or Life Force, only the purest Spiritual Power, most suited for human absorption. Chen Ming mobilized his spirituality, guiding that power to nourish his mind.
Although Chen Ming had lived two lives and his Spiritual Power already exceeded that of ordinary people, he had never experienced such a distinct improvement. This feeling differed from the profundity of spirituality; it was direct and obvious.
Things he had once failed to understand now became easy to grasp. Details he had forgotten gradually became clear. Even his control over the Soul Power in his body became several degrees smoother than usual.
Chen Ming opened his eyes, and a glint flashed through them. A faint trace of gold had appeared within his originally black pupils.
That streak of gold was extremely faint and would surely go unnoticed without close inspection. But if one looked carefully, it seemed as though one's very consciousness was gradually being drawn out of one's body.
