Chen Ming lost both parents at age two during a Soul Ring hunt. His grandfather, Chen Shijie, became the Chen family’s pillar, while his second uncle, Chen Tianyun, raised Chen Ming from infancy. After awakening his Martial Soul at six, Chen Ming learned of the Chen family’s longstanding problem: their high-quality Jade Scorpion Martial Soul commonly produced little or no innate Soul Power.
