The Paw Patrol, Great Success!

The Police Department's exclusive training ground, originally meant for new recruits, now welcomed twenty robust ninja dogs, each as tall as a waist.

Leading them was a particularly imposing, jet-black giant dog with piercing eyes and thick fur.

The agreed-upon time had arrived, and Qingguang and Yashiro finally welcomed the ninja dogs they had been anticipating.

Upon seeing the leader, Yashiro's heart swelled with joy. He slid forward, taking the dog's paw and leading it to Qingguang.

"Captain, the Inuzuka Family's ninja dogs have arrived!" Yashiro announced, though his gaze was fixed not on Qingguang, but on his beloved Akiya.

Akiya, flustered by Yashiro's actions, pulled her hand away and playfully punched his shoulder. "What are you doing? We're on official business. It's not like we haven't held hands before. You're acting like a monkey in a hurry."

Though his shoulder throbbed slightly—Akiya, being an Inuzuka ninja, possessed physical strength and taijutsu skills even superior to his—Yashiro acted as if nothing had happened, merely grinning foolishly. "Your ponytail looks really good today."

"Shut up and stand at attention!"

"Yes, ma'am!"

Akiya, despite her stern words, had ears that were visibly flushed, betraying her true feelings.

Qingguang smiled genuinely, his gaze falling on Black Wind. He asked Akiya, "Sister Akiya, why did Black Wind come along?"

"Ah, he said he was worried these pups might get rusty without real combat experience and insisted on coming to supervise."

"But I think he's just itching to be that Black Dog Sheriff after hearing your story yesterday."

With that, Akiya glanced back at her father's ninja dog.

Black Wind sat regally before the other ninja dogs, deliberately puffing out his chest, utterly still.

Only the excited wagging of his large tail betrayed his true feelings.

"This is good. I know Black Wind's strength well. With his help, handling cases will surely be easier."

For the next three days, Qingguang and Yashiro, alongside Akiya, drilled the ninja dogs, familiarizing them with the Police Department's procedures and regulations.

The recent case had unsettled Qingguang; it felt like the shadow of a major power might be involved.

Konohagakure, the foremost ninja village in the ninja world and the most prosperous place on the continent, even surpassed the capital of the Land of Fire.

Yet, despite its tight security, protected by the Uzu-clan's large barrier and patrolled by the Uchiha Police Force and Anbu ninjas, someone had managed to smuggle in several batches of counterfeit medicine and substandard food.

At best, it would cause some unfortunate civilians to suffer stomach aches and visit Konoha Hospital.

But at worst, if Hanzō, after being humiliated by the Kazekage, had decided to wage war, Konoha would have been drawn in. This food supply could have become critical for the ninjas on the front lines.

On the morning of the operation, just before many merchants opened their stalls, and on a market day—the busiest day of the week—all members of the Police Department, except those on regular patrol, gathered at the training ground.

Qingguang stepped forward, his expression grave and serious.

Behind him followed Akiya, leading the ninja dogs headed by Black Wind, who were arranged in two columns, wearing vests emblazoned with the Police Department's insignia.

"Fellow colleagues, recently, Konoha Hospital has seen several cases of food poisoning and accidental medication ingestion. According to the secret investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit, we have obtained samples."

"To thoroughly investigate this matter and bring the culprits to justice, Minister Fugaku has invited the ninja dogs of the Inuzuka Clan to cooperate with the investigation."

"Their keen noses, which have achieved great success in past missions, are our best weapon for this operation."

"Each of your teams will be guided by a ninja dog. If it barks three times, immediately move to seal the shop and apprehend all related personnel for questioning. If there is resistance, use your police batons to subdue them. If there is no suspicion, the ninja dog will bark once and proceed to the next location."

"Now is when the people of Konoha need us. Everyone, are you ready!?"

Uchiha Yashiro, in the front row of the crowd, immediately puffed out his chest, placing his left hand behind his back and striking his chest with his right fist, shouting loudly, "Always ready!"

"Always ready!!!" all members echoed in unison, pledging their readiness.

"Woof! Woof!"

Even the ninja dogs behind Black Wind raised their heads and barked twice in unison.

"Move out!" Qingguang commanded. Along with Black Wind, a total of 21 ninja dogs set off immediately, with the Police Department ninjas splitting into 21 teams following behind.

After three days of training, they had witnessed the ninja dogs' performance firsthand. Their movements were coordinated and precise. As long as they could detect a scent, they could track down the hidden samples, even if submerged in water.

While ninja cats were cute, the ninjas had to admit that, for Police Department investigations, ninja dogs were more suitable.

Each team advanced with a ninja dog in the lead, followed closely by one Police Department member, while the rest of the ninjas followed discreetly to avoid causing public disturbance.

Black Wind, as a seasoned veteran ninja dog, far surpassed the others in speed and strength.

He moved swiftly through the streets, drawing the attention of many passersby.

Children, in particular, clapped with delight upon seeing the large, handsome black dog.

Some sharp-eyed individuals even spotted the Police Department insignia on his vest.

"That's the Police Department's emblem!"

"A Police Department ninja dog?"

"He's so big, he must be very powerful! They should call him the Black Dog Sheriff!"

The children's cheers filled Black Wind with joy, and he increased his speed, flashing down the street like a black whirlwind.

"Black Wind, slow down!" Akiya, running beside him, found it difficult to keep up and called out.

Suddenly, Black Wind caught a whiff of a familiar scent, exactly like the samples from the past three days of training. He immediately stopped in front of a pharmacy, turning back to shout at Akiya, "There's Venti here!"

"Seal off the scene, not a single person inside this shop is allowed to leave!"

"Police Department business, civilians stay clear!"

Qingguang and Yashiro leaped down from the rooftops by the roadside. A cordon was instantly set up, blocking the entrance. The remaining members surrounded the area from all directions, keeping a close eye on all exits and windows to prevent anyone from escaping in the chaos.

Black Wind, meanwhile, swiftly jumped into the shop, avoiding others and heading straight for the source of the scent.
