Background / History

Qingguang was subjected to an experimental Wood Release surgery overseen by Danzo and Orochimaru. The procedure pushed excessive Yin Release chakra into him and caused him to activate his Sharingan, but Hiruzen Sarutobi halted the experiment before it could continue. Qingguang privately intended to use the experiment’s effects to reset and improve his own attributes rather than simply serve Danzo’s plans. 1 4

Danzo and Hiruzen both sought to shape Qingguang into a weapon for Konoha, particularly one capable of controlling the Nine-Tails. Qingguang gradually rejected being directed by either man, pursuing his own power development through Wood Release, Hashirama-cell experimentation, and the Mangekyō Sharingan. 4 50

After returning to the Uchiha compound, he trained late into the night and entered the Uchiha Police Department. He was assigned to patrol alongside Yashiro and Inabi under Fugaku’s supervision. 8

Personality

Qingguang is composed, self-directed, and difficult to manipulate. Though he initially presents loyalty to Konoha and Danzo, he prioritizes his own long-term objectives when their demands conflict with them. 1 4
