The Game Government Base in District 001 was much larger than the one in District 011. And since Carroll Field, the chief administrator of the entire Wormhole Point, lived there, the base in Flower City was in a league of its own.
The Game Government Base was not far from Flower City's government offices. It took only two or three minutes to get there by underground transit.
Xu Huo didn't rush off. He looked through more information about the Game Government Base. If it had only been expanded without any major renovations, then He Pu, who had anticipated this, might well have left something inside. Compared with other residences, this seemed like a more suitable place. It might look dangerous, but the Players working there probably wouldn't imagine that someone could freely enter and leave the base—and treat it like a storage locker, at that.
However, since the Diamond Key might not open a door or a safe, he specifically searched for information about the staff as well.
But there was very little information about the staff. There wasn't even basic personal information. The only name listed was that of the person responsible for replacing the robots' Cleaning Agent each day—and that was only because he had to make purchases from outside and needed a specific contact. The name might not even be real.
Take the Game Government Base in District 011, for example. Most of its key staff were Players from other districts, and most of them weren't ordinary Players. They seemed to come from districts with a long history of Evolution, and had grown up in the Player world. They had no longing for the ordinary world that existed before the game intervened.
