The two sides looked at each other. The woman's eyes, patterned with fine white threads, swept over Xu Huo from head to toe before she asked, "What did you find?"
"Curious?" Xu Huo raised an eyebrow. "If you're curious, you can look around too."
As he spoke, he pointed toward another Alien corpse not far away.
The woman's expression darkened. The next second, she vanished from the rooftop and flashed into the space in front of Xu Huo.
Xu Huo stayed where he was. As their eyes met, his fingers twitched slightly, and invisible Space Sharp Blades turned the space ahead into a sieve. The woman's figure was caught in them too, but it quickly dispersed like smoke. She hadn't actually appeared in front of him—or rather, she had slipped away before the Space Sharp Blades appeared.
Xu Huo smiled faintly and looked toward an overturned car fifty meters to his right. A moment later, the woman emerged from behind it.
At the same time, the man standing above them dropped to the ground and said with a smile, "My younger sister can be a little thoughtless. Please don't take offense, friend."
"My sister and I are heading to the T6 safe zone. If you don't mind, why not come with us?"
"What happened to the nearest safe zone, T2?" Xu Huo asked.
"You haven't been here long, have you?" the man replied. "T2 safe zone was overrun by a swarm of Aliens. It wasn't much of a safe zone to begin with. They were just cities temporarily designated as safe zones. They had no facilities to deal with Alien tides, and not enough Players—or strong enough ones. Herding people there just turned them into targets."
