He struck too hard, and the old man died on the spot. This enraged some of the government staff, but they were no different from the old man who had been killed. Annoyed by their refusal to cooperate, the tattooed Player killed several more people. His savage, violent gaze made everyone's blood run cold!
"Don't make such a mess of things." Another man, dressed like a gentleman, took off his glasses and slowly wiped them. "Do you want to be sent off to haul bodies again?"
The tattooed man and the scarred man reluctantly stopped, then went to sit off to the side.
The room fell quiet for a moment. After putting his glasses back on, the man finally had time to ask about the situation in the command room.
The people handling the actual operations in the command room were still government staff from the Capital. Sorting useful information from a mountain of data, much of it false, was no easy task. At first, Players had crowded together there, but by now most had gone out for some air. Few Players remained in the enormous command room, and that was only because each faction had to leave one or two people behind to monitor the messages in real time.
The long wait had worn down the Players' patience. To make matters worse, much of the data was encrypted, so even after it was sent to the command room, it still had to be translated. The endless strings of numbers made people's eyes blur. Unless someone knew a thing or two about the subject, it was like staring at astronomy. It was more convenient and quicker to scroll through messages on a phone than to watch the big screen.
Of course, none of the Players could miss what was going
