Some said the Fish Feast chose its guests, and the entrance only appeared before those carrying invitations. Others claimed there was a special mark at the entrance that corresponded to the mark on the invitation. Still others said the Fish Feast was held in a separate space, so its entrance was a spatial gate. Those with invitations were guests, while people without them might stumble in by accident—but they wouldn't count as guests.
There were plenty of rumors, and even more claims about where the entrance appeared. Many people said they had seen it at this or that Wormhole Point, in this or that Sub-district.
