That was the situation, but for now, it had little to do with Xu Huo. His focus was still on the dungeon, so he rested for another half day. Early the next morning, he took a sightseeing bus to Cat Fruit Town.
Cat Fruit Town had already become a modestly famous tourist destination. In addition to the dedicated tourist route, there were tour buses to Cat Fruit Town from other cities. Xu Huo boarded one nearby.
At least half the passengers were Players. Xu Huo and the painted woman sat in the only two empty seats. The Player next to them immediately looked at them with unconcealed irritation and instinctively shifted farther away.
"What a coincidence," Xu Huo greeted him.
The man looked confused. "You've got the wrong person."
"No, I haven't." Xu Huo pointed to the shoes on his feet. "What a coincidence, Bubble Bean."
That's right. On this tour bus heading to Cat Fruit Town, the three of them had run into each other again, just one day after parting ways on the Dimensional Train.
"I don't know what you're talking about." The man denied it, turning his head to the side as if admiring the view outside.
The painted woman sat between them. When she heard Xu Huo call Bubble Bean by name, her eyes lit up, and she pulled the stamp fruit out of her pocket.
"I'm warning you, don't try anything!" Bubble Bean could no longer keep up the act. He glared at Xu Huo and the painted woman. "This isn't some backwater!"
Xu Huo pressed the painted woman's hand down and smiled at Bubble Bean. "Since we keep running into each other, why don't we team up?"
After taking a heavy loss last time, Bubble Bean had no desire to travel with him again.
