Nine Medals
Xu Huo looked up information about medals in the game on the Jixin Terminal. He discovered that District 001 had a wide variety of medals on display. Besides the relatively common medals awarded to players with a sense of justice, such as "Gentleman of Light" and "Heart of Jinyu," there were also "Nemesis of Sin," "God of Truth," and others. District 001 even had a dedicated medal-enthusiast forum where players showed off all kinds of ways they had developed to obtain medals.
They called them Dungeon Easter Eggs.
There was certainly no shortage of adventurous people in the game, but it was rare to find so many concentrated in one place as in District 001. Most medals, however, were more like Easter eggs—just hidden little flourishes. Only "Gentleman of Light" and "Heart of Jinyu" could be exchanged with the Game Government for Gray Player status.
The Game Government might accept other medals too, but usually for different purposes. Those medals also seemed to be fewer in number than "Gentleman of Light" and "Heart of Jinyu," not enough to exchange for Gray Player status.
Honestly, it was difficult for a player to obtain enough medals in a Dungeon on their own. But the Game Government didn't insist that players obtain the medals themselves; stolen or seized medals counted too.
The game issued medals, and the Game Government seemed to be collecting them?
Could it be that the game's official items weren't all made by the Game Government?
