The artifact's primary ability was to alter the state of spatial rays, and it wasn't far off from what Old Mr. Xi had originally envisioned. When activated, it could turn a certain area into a cutting field covered by countless crisscrossing spatial rays, and maintain that field for a set period of time.
The artifact had three levels of effective range. At its maximum, it could cover a small or medium-sized city; at its minimum, it could control an area several kilometers around the user. Once activated, the crisscrossing spatial rays divided the space into equal-sized blocks, while also resonating with time rays.
The spatial rays' primary function was cutting. Each one could be used as an independent weapon, much like the Spatial Cutline Xue Lang used, which had extraordinary cutting power. The resonance of the time rays wasn't particularly effective as an attack, but it could damage some artifacts and instruments. Its range was the same as that of the Spatial Cutline.
However, the holder could walk around within the artifact's effective range, but couldn't completely avoid the time-ray resonance, so he had to be careful.
This touched on an area Old Mr. Xi wasn't good at. He had originally intended to create an artifact that combined spatial and mental powers, but changed it into a Space Artifact during the process. Then, while Master Cong was polishing it, some kind of strange reaction occurred between him and the artifact. In the end, the finished artifact had the effect of time resonance.
