The Secretary thoughtfully brought over some insect feed, but Xu Huo preferred to give it something substantial, like raw meat or fruit.
This little thing was impressive, too. It ate anything without hesitation, though its table manners were atrocious.
Tang Xu didn't return until late at night. He looked less cheerful than when he'd left that morning, so Xu Huo took the initiative and said, "If you have things to take care of, just go ahead."
Tang Xu waved a hand. "I said I'd be your host, so how could I go back on my word? It's nothing major. Green Treasure Daily Chemical got a new owner, so the discounts they used to give small companies had to be renegotiated. It took forever to hash things out. Don't worry, it's all settled. It definitely won't get in the way of us having fun."
It really wasn't a big deal, so Xu Huo didn't ask further. Instead, he brought up the mental healing services in Liujin City.
"I figured you'd be interested as soon as I thought of it," Tang Xu said. "Don't let the fact that Liujin City's mental healing relies mainly on machines fool you. The doctors who assist with the treatment are important, too. They're all retired players hired from other sub-districts at high prices. Quite a few are Mental Evolvers, and the rest are all highly experienced. Sorting out psychological problems is second nature to them. Lots of players come back for repeat visits."
Xu Huo looked interested. "Then I really should give it a try."
Tang Xu's smile deepened. After chatting for a couple more minutes, he headed back to rest. They had plans for the next day, after all. A good night's sleep would help them enjoy themselves to the fullest.
